Button Click No Longer Working in iMacros for Firefox 9.0.3

by automate* on Fri Jan 27, 2017 12:53 pm

I am using iMacros for Firefox 9.0.3 on Firefox 51 and Windows 7
VERSION BUILD=9030808 RECORDER=FX

I have some fairly long/complex JavaScript files with macros embedded in them for automating processes at work. Unfortunately, they rely heavily on access to the DOM, so they need to be redeveloped to be compatible with the latest version of iMacros for Firefox. I'm working on one of my scripts now and running into a lot of issues. Some of my issues I see mentioned elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything related to the problem I describe below.

Note:Before playing my script, I log into an online administrative interface.

Everything works fine until the script tries to run the following macro:
Code: Select all
var goToCustomer = "CODE:"+"\n"
   + "SET !ERRORIGNORE NO" + "\n"
   + "SET !TIMEOUT_STEP 1" + "\n"
   + "TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=ID:_ctl0 ATTR=ID:grid_BrowseValue CONTENT={{custID}}." + "\n"
   + "WAIT SECONDS=1" + "\n"
   + "TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:BUTTON FORM=ID:_ctl0 ATTR=*" + "\n"
   + "TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:lnkHoldings";
iimSet("custID",custID);
var retCustomer = iimPlay(goToCustomer);

It will correctly add the "custid" value to the text box, but when it performs
Code: Select all
TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:BUTTON FORM=ID:_ctl0 ATTR=*

I get redirected back to the login screen for the administrative interface, and the macro can't find the lnkHoldings link.

This macro DOES WORK under the following conditions:
* It works if I run my js file in iMacros for Firefox 8.9.7.
* It works if I run just the macro as an .iim in iMacros for Firefox 8.9.7
* It works if I run just the macro as an .iim in iMacros for Firefox 9.0.3

Here is the plain .iim:
Code: Select all
SET !ERRORIGNORE NO
SET !TIMEOUT_STEP 1
TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=ID:_ctl0 ATTR=ID:grid_BrowseValue CONTENT=arianah.
WAIT SECONDS=1
TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:BUTTON FORM=ID:_ctl0 ATTR=*
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:lnkHoldings

Any thoughts that might get me on the right path would be appreciated! I'm completely stumped.

Thanks
