Installation issue

by alfredky on Thu Sep 22, 2005 3:55 am

Just installed 4.31 (previously ver 3 which I uninstalled first using windows control panel/remove programs).

2 problems:
Internet Macros will not launch as an app (by double clicking the icon). I
simply get an error beep.

The plugin in IE seems to have installed but nothing is visible/enabled.
The toolbar icon is invisible and even though this opens the sidewindow,
nothing is visible. and no features work except the close icon.

I am running WinXPSP2 and also Zonealarmpro. Previous version 3 seemd to perform correctly

This looks like an installation issue. Maybe the older Version 3 was not removed completely. Please try the following:

1. Uninstall V4.31
2. REBOOT
3. Reinstall V4.31

Please let me know if the suggested solutions works for you.

This seemed to work. I had previously tried this without the reboot between uninstall and reinstall.

Both Internet Macros browser and the IE plug-in are now working as expected.
