How to Pin a Tab in Google Chrome and Firefox on windows?

is it possible to pin a tab in Chrome/Firefoz via iMacros?

I have a series of tabs I like to keep tabbed. I have a marco that loads them but I haven't found a way to pin them. Any suggestions?

On Firefox, I thought you might be able to find a Solution like the one I found in this Thread using the EVENT Mode for Alt^P (= Pin Tab)...:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=22555#p57130
Code: Select all
EVENT TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR=* Char="p" MODIFIERS="alt"

But it doesn't work...!
Adding some Ctrl^3 (Tab Nb) to select the Tab doesn't work either...

No avail neither using Firefox Shortcuts:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ke ... =inproduct
nor in combination with Customizable Shortcuts (v0.5.11.1), because there is no direct Shortcut for 'Pin Tab'...
Maybe possible by hacking the Add-on but I didn't come that far...

Tested on iMacros v8.8.1 for FF on FF v27.0.1 on Win7-64 Home Premium.

Tom,

I have looked at the FAQ but fail to see what it is your trying to say. Can you expand?

Thanks!

Q: How do I click a button on the browser toolbar, select a browser menu item, or interact with another browser plug-in?
iMacros is designed primarily to automate interactions within the actual web page itself. It is not capable of controlling every browser-specific command or menu item, toolbar buttons, or other plug-ins. Flash/Java/Silverlight content displayed on the web page can be automated using iMacros DirectScreen commands.

=> Not possible...!

If you want to find a Solution, you'll need to explore/experiment further in the 4 directions I mentioned in my previous Post... And post it if you find one...
