Re: iMacros Capabilities and Questions

http://wiki.imacros.net/First_Steps

Start here - there are no conditional statements in iMacros - but you can solve that with a little JS.

There you go! Good luck!

new Search and Regex

I'm attempting to use the new Search feature + regex to transform my !EXTRACT. However, it doesn't seem to apply the regex to the extraction like it should. VERSION BUILD=6500125 RECORDER=FX TAB T=1 ..... SET !EXTRACT_TEST_POPUP NO ONDIALOG POS=1 BUTTON=OK CONTENT= TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:ctl00_ctl...

Re: repeat macro to same row in csv file

You know, you could've read that page. http://www.iopus.com/imacros/help/index.htm?input_csv.htm once again: We then need to tell iMacros how many columns the CSV file has in each line. We do that by using the !DATASOURCE_COLUMNS variable: SET !DATASOURCE_COLUMNS 3 This number must match the exact n...

Re: Extract word from sentence

It would appear that neither iMacros nor javascript allow look-behinds.

therefore my regex does not work as a .js or as an .iim.

any help?

Re: Extract word from sentence

So I figured out the regex i needed to extract the temp password, however, when running my .iim, i get Runtime error: can not compile regex (?<=:\s)\w+(?=.) on line 8 SET !EXTRACT_TEST_POPUP NO ONDIALOG POS=1 BUTTON=OK CONTENT= TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:ctl00_ctl00_ContentRegion_ContentRegion_ucUserA...

Re: Extract word from sentence

In the examples for Search, it appears it needs the entire sentence in the source line in order to get the "phrase." In the example the getTracker ID is already known - and then extracted. Since the sentence is always changing how would I indicate that it needs to search the last extracted sentence ...

Extract word from sentence

I am attempting to extract a word from a sentence. I am writing a macro that resets a user's password, extracts the new password, logs in with that password and changes it to a uniform password. I am successful in extracting the sentence contained therein with: TAG POS=1 TYPE=SPAN ATTR=ID:ctl00_ctl0...

Re: SAVEPICTUREAS and SAVEITEM not working

I attempted to use an extract instead of saveitem/savepictureas, and i got a test.jpg, although it was not the picture. it was just a blank image. Maybe it's a bug with those commands?

Your script works fine when I run it.

Have you checked c:\ for test.jpg?
