Re: URL GOTO=javascript:... not work after Chrome update to 71 version.

Quick update on this issue... the issue has been fixed but unfortunately the release has been delayed due to Chrome 71 breaking iMacros upload functionality. The dev team needs more time to investigate a fix for the upload issue so that we can hopefully include both fixes in the next release.

Re: Cant start Chrome browser from script

Hi Mogens,

Sorry for the late reply. You need to use iMacros Enterprise v12 or later in order to script iMacros for Chrome|Firefox 10. See note #2 here.

Re: iMacros closes when selecting a dropdown

Hi shaves,

I assume you were using iMacros for IE, is that correct?

Was there any crash report file in the Logs folder (the same location where you found the iMacros.log file)?

Is it possible to share the macro that reproduces the problem? If not here publicly, I can contact you via email.

Re: Bug with SAVEAS TYPE=EXTRACT in iMacros for Firefox 10.0.2

Quick update and further clarification on this issue... It was determined that this issue only occurs when saving data that consists of just one column. So one way to mitigate the problem would be to always include at least two columns in the output, for example: SET !EXTRACT Line1 ADD !EXTRACT "" S...

Bug with SAVEAS TYPE=EXTRACT in iMacros for Firefox 10.0.2

Hi everyone, The following bug just came to our attention that affects iMacros for Firefox Personal Edition users: When calling SAVEAS to write extracted data to an output file, iMacros is not appending a newline. So subsequent calls to SAVEAS to write data to the same file result in all the data be...

Re: OnWebPageDialog can't close form

Hi acichosz13, I'm attaching a zip of the example script and macro files to this post. Just download and extract the files to your Documents\iMacros\Macros folder and then run the VBScript by browsing the folder on your computer and double-clicking the .vbs file. Here's a short screencast of it runn...

Re: *Critical* New Chrome Update Disabled the Upload Feature Support Needed!!

Hi speedz84, Thank you for reporting this issue here. I have confirmed the behavior in the latest version of Chrome and logged the issue for further investigation. As chivracq already mentioned, we are currently preparing a new hot-fix release of iMacros for Chrome, so depending on the severity and ...

Re: Refresh until a specific text is found

Hi Nico,

What version of iMacros are you using and with which browser? How frequently do you want to refresh the page and check for the text?

@woo666: what type of license do you have? I did not find anything in our system when I searched on the email address associated with your forum account. Is your license under a different email address?

Re: OnWebPageDialog can't close form

Hi acichosz13, I regret to inform you that the proposed fix for this issue turned out to be quite more involved and tricky to debug than originally hoped, and due to the rarity of the issue and unpopularity of web page dialogs in general, the dev team cannot justify spending additional resources on ...

Re: URL GOTO from csv file - only 1st line URL working well. It is no working from 2nd lined URL.

To clear up some of the confusion: All versions of iMacros (including the freeware) have the ability to loop/repeat macros. Starting with the v12 release of iMacros for IE and the iMacros browser, the Play (Loop) button was removed in favor of having a single Play button. In these versions, the thin...

Re: OnWebPageDialog can't close form

Hmmm... so it sounds like it is attempting to close the web page dialog before the macro has a chance to complete. Okay, thanks for the feedback, I will forward this on to the developer and let you know as soon as we have another update that you can try.

And even easier to test with the following mini-Script: SET !VAR1 EVAL("var z=0; z;") PROMPT VAR1:<SP>_{{!VAR1}}_ Here's an even more concise test case that demonstrates the issue: PROMPT EVAL("0") Another workaround would be to always return a string value from EVAL, for example: SET !VAR1 EVAL("v...

Re: open text file with imacros

With a large amount of Text, the Extract Test Popup has a Limitation of a few Kb with what it can display and it will "explode" your Screen anyway (you'll need to close it using the 'Close' Button, the 'OK' and 'Cancel' Buttons are usually not reachable), but the EXTRACT Mechanism is still able to ...

Re: Firefox Default Apps Settings not working

I implemented the "embedded" macros option as shown below. It works correctly for Firefox, but for Chrome I only get a web page with the text "Launch iMacros" and nothing else happens. I'm sorry to hear that it is no longer working for Chrome. Ipswitch doesn't officially support any method for runn...
