Is the ONDOWNLOAD command working?

Hello, I have read the following post and set my settings for csv-files to "always ask": http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=12923 But still the ONDOWNLOAD command doesn't handle my download. My macro looks like this: ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=C:\xy FILE=name.csv TAG POS=1 TYPE=DIV ATTR=ID:XY&&TXT...

SOLVED: Quotation marks get doubled when written into CSV

Hello, I have another problem. I want to write some gathered data into a .csv file - this works, but I want the data to be seperated by >>","<< so I can open it in Excel without problems. This is my code: [...] var myData = String(data1) + "\",\"" + String(data2) "\",\"" + String(data3) + "\",\"" + ...

Re: Get the information of HTML element property

Thanks for your quick response. The wiki page states: "Extracts data from websites. Use the attribute ATTR to determine which part is to be extracted. Normally this part is generated by the Extraction Wizard. The EXTRACT command searches the HTML source code of the website for the nth occurrence of ...

Get the information of HTML element property

Hello, maybe someone here can help me with this. I have the following source code on this one website: <a href="http://example.com/" data-text="the text I wish to extract">example</a> As far as I know, with the TAG command I can only extract either the HREF of the link or else the anchor text, but i...

Re: TypeError: mtree is null

Yes, this is the solution! I have noticed that a folder was reproduced like 20 times and the macro was moved to the deepest point; after I deleted that folders, everything was back to normal. I noticed it after I couldn't paste my iMacros folder to a USB flash drive because the pathnames were too lo...

iMacros Toolbar doesn't show macros anymore

Hello, since a few days the iMacros Toolbar does not show any macros anymore. The macros are still there and the path to the folder is right. I have changed nothing in my settings or in any other way. It just happened from one firefox session to another. I'm using FF 4 with the latest iMacros versio...

Re: TAB command NOT working - solution

You can't navigate backwards through the tabs, because if you end a macro, the current tab will be tab 1. So you have to end your macro with "TAB T=1" to go back to the original tab 1. iimPlay("CODE: TAB T=1\nTAB OPEN\nTAB T=2\nURL GOTO={{desiredURL}}\nTAB T=1"); // now the next macro will start at ...

Re: Replace a certain line within a csv-file

Actually I was hoping for a faster way to do it... (it takes a while if I have to read a 1000 lines from a csv-file)
But if that's the only possibility, I'll go with that, thanks. :)

Btw: I can't use the java-code because I'm using the free version :P

Code: Select all

for (var i = 1; i <= 100; i++) {
  iimPlay("macro1");
  if (iimPlay('CODE: SEARCH SOURCE=TXT:"Hello World!" IGNORE_CASE=YES') < 0) {
    iimPlay("macro1");
  }
  else {
    iimPlay("macro2");
  }

Re: can you have a tag command look for ever changing txt on

How about reading the iMacros-Wiki?

http://wiki.imacros.net/TAG

The thing you are searching for is a so called wildcard... in this case just write:

Code: Select all

TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:*

Re: Help

You would need an if-statement for that which checks the page i.e. for the text "Connection has timed out". This can only be accomplished with JavaScript. For example: iimPlay("macroXY"); if (iimPlay('CODE: SEARCH SOURCE=TXT:"Connection has timed out" IGNORE_CASE=YES') { iimPlay("macroXY"); } iimPla...

Create Folder with iMacros / JavaScript

Hey there, I was wondering myself if iMacros can create folders or if there is a way to do this with JavaScript. I want iMacros to automatically create a structure of folders where data about the running macro will be saved. I tried to do it with: SAVEAS TYPE=EXTRACT FOLDER={{PATH}}\{{FolderIwishToC...

Re: ONDOWNLOAD problem with csv & xls file type.

I have a problem with the ONDOWNLOAD command as well. I have to tag a INPUT:SUBMIT in order to start the download. Firefox will save the filetype automatically, so the dialog that is asking me, where I want to save the file, opens up. Normally the ONDOWNLOAD command should take care of this(?), but ...
