download as .aspx rather than .txt file
Hiya, Latest version of iMacros, Win 10, CR, other scripts work ok. I have a web page with a download button on it. It's a private log-in so I can't give the link, but it's just .csv stock data. When iMacros clicks on it, it downloads an .aspx file, then promptly deletes it. Yet when I click the dow...

How to buy Personal Edition?
I noticed there's no way to download a trial version of the Personal Edition via the website. Nothing is clickable. I want to try the paid version to see if it works with FF 57 (Quantum).
Can I have some info on this please?

Re: How to speed up Firefox loading / iMacros Script
Thank you chiv. Sounds like I will need to pay to use. Companies need to make a return on their investment - just hope it's within a reasonable price range.
Just out of interest, what sort of work requires 700 tabs open with a macro running?! Only if you're comfortable to share.

I thought I'd ask here rather than start a new thread. Seems to be not much info on the imacros version which will be compatible with Quantum FF. Since you're an expert user, would you have any insight please? Obviously I'm keen to get hold of a copy.
Thanks.

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Thanks Tom. I don't have the scripting interface, so for the moment I'd like to try an option which does not require .js script. iMacros for Firefox includes it's own (Javascript only) scripting interface, which I linked to in my previous post. This is separate from the more powerful scripting inte...

I'll certainly come back to your post if I can't manage to get chivracq's suggestion working. chivracq, Can you please show me whichever of those two ways would be easiest...

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Thanks Tom and chivraqc. Making some headway now, which is great! I think I'm nearly at my goal. I can enter an order into the order pad from a CSV file (lines 28-41). But I want to send 2 orders by looping through the script. I have the following CSV file in the DATASOURCES folder, and named it 'FP...

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Tom, Thanks very much. Strangely, it made all the difference automating from the log-in page, as opposed to the trading platform (which is what I was trying to do, unsuccessfully). Now I can at least get certain clicks happening, but I'm not quite where I need to be yet. With the current script, I c...

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Thanks chivracq, I'm sure if I went back to FF37 it would be ok but this is a stockbroker website and FF tells me there are serious security risks involved in going back to earlier versions (even if they only make a few real security changes, maybe they are major security updates. I don't know). So ...

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Thanks again chivraq,
So I guess for now the solution is to revert to an earlier version of FF?
I'd feel a bit concerned about security. Any further thoughts on this appreciated.
Regards, GB

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Thanks Guys, Imacros - 8.9.2.1 for FF, FF 39.0, Win 8.1x64 Yes you're right chivracq, the usename and password etc. is just so that you could access the platform itself. The trading platform opens in a new tab and this is where the difficulties lie. I might not have made that clear, sorry. The windo...

Re: RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Thanks Tom, I'm playing it from the sidebar. I don't have the scripting interface. When I do the steps manually, the confirm dialog does not appear in Firefox. I had a read of the ONDIALOG link thank you, but can't work out how to make that work. I wonder if you'd have a look at the web page please....

RuntimeError: unhandled confirmEx dialog detected.
Hello, Can someone help with this error message please. Win 8.1 and Firefox. Demos work fine. I am simply wanting to form-fill an HTML website, which I thought would have been ok. I used record function and everything went smoothly with that. Come to play it, and I get this error. RuntimeError: unha...

iMacros form filling difficulties - javascript?
I want to input csv data into my stockbroker's web page, but iMacros doesn't work with the page format. I am just using the record function.
I have a feeling the page might be written in javascript. Is it possible to work around this?
ps. I've had no problems form filling on other websites.
