Re: Change CONTENT dependent on local machine date

Yes, that example is set to return the date in dd/mm/yyyy format. You can easily change that by swapping the day and month variables in the last expression: SET tomorrow EVAL("var today = new Date(); var tomorrow = new Date(); tomorrow.setDate(today.getDate() + 1); var day = tomorrow.getDate().toStr...

Re: Change CONTENT dependent on local machine date

bobis, your simple approach won't work correctly if today is the last day of the month.

Another example is provided in the iMacros wiki:

Re: VBA won't run on new PC

Hi D4rkh0rs3,

You need to use the iMacros scripting interface in order to automate iMacros from Excel VBA. The scripting interface is only included with the Enterprise Edition (and not the free IE add-on). You can download a trial version from here:

It sounds like something may have not installed correctly. Did you try reinstalling?

Re: Trim extracted title to 75 characters

My apologies DJDB, and yes, bobis has the right solution (except you would use the EVAL command with !VAR3 in your macro and not !VAR1).

Re: Trim extracted title to 75 characters

I don't think the iOpus staff have a lot of tolerance for forum spammers (which is what it sounds like this macro does), and that's why you won't likely see a response from any of them. I know that it's impossible to do using only imacros Not true. It's actually quite easy to do this with iMacros. B...

Re: Using EVAL to convert civic number / date

Hi MMXP, Your logic is actually correct. The only problem is that you need to return the final value to the macro by adding it as a single statement to the end of the Javascript: SET !VAR1 EVAL("var ssn = \"{{!EXTRACT}}\"; var y = ssn.substring(2,4); var m = ssn.substring(4,6); var d = ssn.substring...

Re: getting website logo path and pasting in input

Hi freshmasterj, Here's one way to do it by using a wildcard to extract the first url found on the page with the word "logo" in it: VERSION BUILD=8021970 TAB T=1 TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS URL GOTO=http://johnmcgarrah.com/imacros.html TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:http://www.youtubefriendfinder.com TAB T=2 TAG ...

Yes, exactly. It's the same concept basically, you would just have one extra step before extracting all the data.

Re: Scrape Results Across Several Pages

No, it's actually the VBScript that launches iMacros. You run the VBScript like you would any other program, just browse to the location of the .vbs file on your hard drive and double-click it.

Re: How do i set the !VAR3 for Page Title?

Hi Yoga, You can't reference individually extracted items unless you use some custom scripting code. But what you can do is clear the extraction buffer after you assign it to !VAR2: TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=SRC:*.jpg EXTRACT=HREF SET !VAR2 {{!EXTRACT}} SET !EXTRACT NULL Then the next time you extract...

Hi, I am very much interested in helping with this project and would like to send you a sample. It appears that private messages are disabled on these boards, and they don't display user email addresses (not a bad thing for preventing spam I guess). I entered my email address into the location field...
