Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

Thanks for the reply. But I don't use Javascript :)

I fixed it like I said in my last post.

Re: How to loop from txt file irrelevant of loop?

I think email notifications when there are new replies to threads you started or posted on should be enabled by default.

I never messed with this setting before, so I know I didn't disable it.

Re: How to loop from txt file irrelevant of loop?

Hm so I had forum notifications enabled for everything, but email notifications were enabled for only 2 out of the 5 points. I enabled email notifications for all now.

Please reply something, to test if it works :D

Re: How to loop from txt file irrelevant of loop?

Hey man, I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner. I eventually didn't need this, and things came up and I couldn't even check the forum to see if there are any replies on this thread and reply (i get no email notifications on for my threads on the iMacro forum so I always have to check them manually from...

Re: How to loop from txt file irrelevant of loop?

Okay, got it on the correct forum posting. Told ya I'd try to be more careful in the future and try to post in the correct section. About your solution. There are not quite a few threads about that on the forum. In fact there are very few, and they're all so far away from my scenario. My demand is s...

How to loop from txt file irrelevant of loop?

I hope I'm posting in the correct section of the forum. I always post in iMacros for Firefox, and I was flamed that it's the wrong place. iMacros 8.9.7 Firefox 55.0.2 Windows 10 --- I have a script like this: SET !ERRORIGNORE YES SET !VAR1 EVAL("var min = 5; var max = 10; var randomNumber = Math.flo...

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

I checked for the URL, but I'm sure that URL changes on every page reload. The pages are pretty static, there are no other SPAN elements that would just appear. I tried the other 2 possibilities you mentioned, but they didn't work. Okay, well, I tried. Unfortunately I don't see a way to get this don...

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

I just spent a few more hours trying to solve it, but no luck. I eventually managed to insert a frame on Tab 1 and have it be Frame 1. I did it by using Inspect Element and adding a frame directly into the Body, and then editing the code that frame loads to include my text, and that worked. But I do...

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

Ahhhhhhh I tried everything. On Tab 2 this works: FRAME F=1 TAG POS=1 TYPE=SPAN ATTR=TXT:0 On Tab 1 this works: TAG POS=1 TYPE=SPAN ATTR=TXT:0 The Frame is causing me a problem. I tried FRAME F=0, I tried changing the HTML I injected on the page (adding <iframe></iframe> type of code in it), I tried...

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

Okay good thing I decided to test this on small scale before rolling it out to all my scripts. I encountered a problem, because of FRAME F=1 On TAB=1 I have no need for FRAME F=1, but on TAB=2 I do need it. So what happens is if my script runs normally and opens TAB=2 and goes through the steps, it ...

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

Okay, I think I figured everything out now. At first I set a Timeout Step on some text on Tab 1, so that when Tab 2 is closed the script will locate that text and move on. But then I realized I can make the script even better if I tag some dynamic text on Tab 2. So then if that text is at 0 the scri...

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

Ohhhhhhhhhhh pa pow, pa pow, pa pow!!! GOT IT!!!

After 238 hours of reading the forum :D Found it here - https://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?t=28427

This worked:

Code: Select all

FRAME F=1
TAG POS=1 TYPE=SPAN ATTR=TXT:0
I knew it was simple :)

Re: Pause iMacro until tab is closed - resume script automatically

That said, I am missing 1 last piece of the puzzle to complete my need. I tried all the recording modes, and I tried searching the forum, but no matter what I tried I can't Tag this one: <div id="80">Click for <span id="counter">0</span>/ 5 minutes </div> I can tag div id 80 by recording, but I wou...
