I am scripting a web page that has a link that opens a new tab in IE7. How do I continue working with the page that is opened by this action? I can build a second macro for the new page that is opened. BTW, if a macro clicks the link, it does not open a new tab. If I click it manually, it opens. Wha...

What is the status of this? I am having the same problem but with EXTRACTDIALOG. When scripting and running mulitple macros, if there is a javascript alert, I do not get the dialog from the most recent macro but from the one before that.

self.focus() in html breaks iMacros

I am working with a page that has the following: <body onBlur="self.focus();"> I am unable to use PROMPT or VBS MsgBox on this page. Even worse, the iMacros recorder will not work on this page. This happens with both IE7 and the iMacros browser. Please test this html. I put a copy of it at: http://w...

I will add one possibly important thing. The page I am having trouble with has this:

<BODY leftMargin=2 topMargin=2 onBlur="self.focus();">

Is this possibly causing the problem? I have no way to change the javascript, this is not my site. Any suggestions for getting around this?

I have a VBScript with an InputBox. When I display the InputBox, the iMacros browser steals the focus. This occurs with both the iMacros browser and Internet Explorer. Is there way to prevent the browser from stealing the focus so an InputBox can be displayed?

TAB OPEN broken on IE7?

This simple macro does not seem to work on IE7. TAB OPEN NEW does not open a new tab. It runs the GOTO in the current tab. How do you get a new tab in IE7?? URL GOTO=http://www.yahoo.com TAB OPEN NEW TAB T=2 URL GOTO=http://www.google.com Google.com is in the first tab, there is no second tab. Enjoy...

I am using PHP and having no problems. Here is an example of my PHP, maybe this will help you:

$fso = new COM('Scripting.FileSystemObject');
$fso = NULL;

$iim1 = new COM("imacros");

$iret = $iim1->iimInit("-runner");

$iret = $iim1->iimPlay("mymacro");

When scripting, you can have as many variables as you wish. VBS is not heard to learn, it is really simple calls to iMacros functions. Here is a example of a login script and macro. The two variables are userid and password. You can have as many of these as you wish. iret = iim1.iimSet("-var_userid"...

I created a blank file called t1b.htm and put it in that location. I no longer get this error. Thank you. How ever, I notice that my macros don't run in Internet explorer unless the iMacros sidebar is open. Is there a way to launch IE from a script (VBS) and tell IE top open the iMacros sidebar so t...

I would also like to see this. There is no need for the iMacros window to be present when running my application, it takes up space and confuses my users. please add this feature to 'hide' the iMacros window.

Missing v1b.htm error when running VBS for IE?

I have a simple script and macro. When I run this script, it starts IE7, but before running the macro, I receive this popup error: Cannot find 'file://C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Documents/iMacros/t1b.htm. make sure the path or Internet address is correct. What is t1b.htm? Where is this comi...
