Are spaces <SP> taken care of in input params?

When i pass in a variable, via the scripting interface and that value has spaces in it, does imacros automatically add in the <SP> or must i ensure they are there prior to passing in the value? Example: m.iimSet("-var_LOC", "East Tower"); TAG POS=1 TYPE=SELECT FORM=NAME:login ATTR=ID:location CONTEN...

sending player licence key to iimInit()

has anyone ever successfully sent the player licence to the iimInit() using a trial version (meaning no key entered) of iMacros? I want to distribute a copy of iMacros with my software, and bury the player licence key in my code by passing it as a parameter to the iimInit() function. I was told the ...

Verbose Error Messages?

When using iimInit, i see that it returns the error code (if applicable). However, when i get an error like -301, it is not very helpful in determining where the script failed. I know i can turn on logging, and in the log i can see the line number of the script that failed. Any chance i can get this...

iimrunner silent

I am using on a web server, but it seems that even on a web server silent would be preferred as... 1. it would not interrupt the logged in user that iimrunner is running as should they be working on the server 2. it would save using processing power required to physically open a browser instance and...

Found answer

i found my own answer (yet again). Could you guys please add some better documentation around using iimrunner. I should not have to search user forums for basic set up. Also, an example like so... s = m.iimInit("-runner -silent", true, "", "", "", mTimeout); which demonstrated how you could use more...

found error

i found the answer in a previous post - not sure why its not in your documentation but the answer was basically that its a path issue. Meaning check the path to your script - if you are referencing the script name (without a path) then make sure there is no .iim extension - if you are referencing a ...

Error Code: -110

I can't find this error code in the documentation. Can anyone tell me what it means?

Also, what is the name of the windows process that iimrunner runs as please?

if else

As i understand it, there is no scripting logic that i can use inside of a iim script itself. If that is true, how would one typically handle a situation like this... depending the version of software for the web inteface i am working with, i may see a logout button or a logout link (meaning, i woul...

changing script path

when using iimPlay, how do I set the path to my iim script if it resides someone other than the default script directory? I tried something like..

s = m.iimPlay("D:\\My_Scripts\\CallPilot_Reset_Script", sTimeout);

Capture Extractions via command line

when i call my script via command line, are the extracts returned to the calling program somehow? (if i run directly, i know the extracts produce popups - but how do i return this information to the calling app?) Does anyone have an example of this? (I will be calling via C# .net likely). Thanks in ...

issue passing variables

i am new to iMacros so it may be something i am doing wrong, but when i try to pass in variables via the command line to my script, the variables don't seem to populate. I am using the free version for now - could this be a limitation of the free version?? or have i got the syntax all messed up? ver...
