Re: Unknown error -1001 when opening any source

Running iMacro version 8.8.1 on XP SP3 and Win 7 machines. Several macros will not run with Firefox ver 28, some will. The error message: NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED: Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) (ns1PewfBranch, getCharPref) (Error code: -1001) This is one of the simple ...

Re: move macro between folders

It appears to be the move command needs something, maybe some java thing that is included in the latest version of firefox.

I loaded firefox version 3.6.8 and it works. I tested it with firefox version 3.0.14 (I have both versions on the same machine) and move will not work with 3.0.14.

Re: move macro between folders

Looks like this feature was lost after version 6.3.1.1.

Guess I will keep using 6.3.1.1 until the bug/error gets fixed.

Re: Stupid demo macros crowd out my own every update

I place most macros in 3 to 5 different folders, depending on what they are used for. I do leave about 10 macros in the default (favorites) folders. I move all demos to a folder called "demos". But each time there is an update the demo macros are added to the favorites folder and I have to...

Don't understand

All of my macro files have and all ways have had the extension .iim.

Are you saying I have to have a filename like mymacro.iim.iim, I wouldn't think so.

Any time I tried to do a rename with the newer versions, the rename box is empty.

lost folder

The folder may still be there. Do a search and see if system can find the files. I would make sure the imacro paths are correct. (iMacros > edit > options) May also have to refresh the macro list. I have gone back to the December release on all of my computers and this has solved my problems. the on...

Why I want to go back 1 version

The current version has at least 2 bugs: The rename does not work, I do a fair amount of renaming. looks like it may not show empty folders A couple of times I have lost macros. I don't know if that is because of the new version or not. I have been using imacros for firefox for several months and ha...

How do I backup to version before 6020130

I would like go back to the version before the up date of 1/30/08.

How do I do this?

I downloaded an old version of iMacros, but this was a stand alone and not a firefox add-on :(
