Re: Javascript: Find Previous Business day

No need to respond. I have almost solved it with help of some code on the web. However, it would be very useful to learn how to use the moment.js library (https://www.webfx.com/blog/web-design/j ... moment-js/) in an iMacros javascript. (I posted this question as a follow up to an old post here: htt...

Re: Include JS Functions Library in JS File

I would like to use the moment.js library (https://www.webfx.com/blog/web-design/j ... moment-js/) in an iMacros javascript. Is that possible?

Javascript: Find Previous Business day

OK, so this question is maybe a little outside the scope of this forum, but maybe someone can help. I am trying to write a javascript that outputs the previous business day. For example, if today was Monday 6/15/20 it would return Friday 06/12/20. Saturday 6/13/20 and Sunday 6/14/20 would also retur...

Re: Find POS Based on Text?

But OK, back to your Qt..., well, your "POS=14" is "not best" indeed, that's pretty high, and not very "reliable"... But hum, your "NAME:ppw-instrumentRowSelection", is that the Name of the overall Radio Selection, of just the Name of that one Item within the whole RB...? (But then I wouldn't under...

Re: Find POS Based on Text?

FCIM...! :| Read the Forum Rules (again), your Sig is not the place for your FCI (if it's ueberhaupt your current FCI...!? :? ), as it's only confusing.... :roll: OK.. Moved the FCI away from the signature. Quick Reading, but Answer to your Qt is "yep, always possible", but it's probably not the "c...

Find POS Based on Text?

I am getting rusty with iMacros.... :( I have macros that contain commands like this: TAG POS=14 TYPE=INPUT:RADIO FORM=ACTION:asv/reload ATTR=NAME:ppw-instrumentRowSelection It selects the radio button the 14th row position. The position may change from day to day. However, each such row on the web ...

Re: Is it Possible to Extract Data From Chart?

Thanks chivracq. Actually my particular issue was easily solved. When I recorded in EVENT mode, I had checked "Favor element Ids in selectors". After I unchecked this and recorded again, I got a macro that didn't hang anymore. All I needed in my macro was: EVENT TYPE=MOUSEDOWN SELECTOR="HTML>BODY" B...

Re: Is it Possible to Extract Data From Chart?

Ah-ah...!, well the Hang on the next Line after the 'MOUSEMOVE' is not that "strange", that was actually the Reason more than 5 years ago I came to the Forum for reporting that Bug... (as I couldn't find a Workaround at that time :P ), that was never acknowledged by TechSup/Dev, and never solved of...

Re: Is it Possible to Extract Data From Chart?

Hmm... It didn't work for me. It worked right after recording. However, when I changed the numbers in the last "Quantity" field and run it again, it first timed out on mousedown EVENT TYPE=MOUSEDOWN SELECTOR="#highcharts-8>svg" BUTTON=0 and then hung on SET !EXTRACT NULL (very strange) Here is my ve...

Re: Is it Possible to Extract Data From Chart?

I rerecorded, and indeed the macro found the right price & P/L :) . My excitement was short-lived though :( : If I change any of the parameters or chart scaling, iMacros can't find the last point of the line (for example, change the last "Quantity" field from 1108 to 1100)). This is to be expected a...

Re: Is it Possible to Extract Data From Chart?

Thank you as always for you response chivracq ! My mistake, the Chart was not saved properly. With the chart as it is I am not sure how you get the values from the extraction? In the current chart, if you put the mouse cursor all the way to the right on the line, it will show Price= 53.8 Profit / Lo...

Is it Possible to Extract Data From Chart?

Is there any way to extract data from this chart: http://optioncreator.com/stnub32 For example, I would like to extract the P/L (=2217.9829) for Price = 57. I am willing to try any browser and version of iMacros p.s. I looked at the source but I couldn't find "2217", so I assume that iMacros will no...

Re: iimSet Syntax?

'iimSet()' is for setting Values to Vars for inside your "next" on-the-fly '.iim' Macro... => a "PROMPT {{y}}" in that '.iim' Macro will then display your expected "1"... :idea: Yes, of course :oops: . Thanks for reminding me! I haven't written a java-script for quite some time. My memory isn't wha...

iimSet Syntax?

I must be getting old.... :shock:
What is wrong with this trivial JavaScript for Firefox:

Code: Select all

var x = 1;
var y = 99;
iimSet("y", x);
alert(x);
alert(y);
y is not set to 1 by iimSet() - it is still = 99.

Message without stopping macro?

I would like to display messages (in a loop) while the macro is running. Is that possible to do in a regular macro or do I need to use javascript and iimDisplay() ? 1. PROMPT always needs the user to press "OK" so it stops the macro. 2. Can iimDisplay() be used in macro or do I need javascript? I tr...
