Relative Extraction TAG

In Version 6.30 (The last version I had before I purchased version 7) There was a change in logic where The Relative Extraction TAG returns #EANF# if the anchor fails.

Is there a way to turn this on in Version 7?

Thank you,

Re: iMacro script syntax highlighting in Notepad++ editor

I just upgraded to Version 7. I am not sure if this is a bug, or I need to modify a setting. My Macros are stored on a network drive "S:\ITS\ISDATA\Web Scraping\iMacros {Macros}" The Macro I wish to modify is "Bank Detail.iim" When I select Edit Macro using the NotePad++ Editor, I get the following ...

Re: Extracting help - iimGetLastExtract

Remove the spaces from the Version Build Line

VERSION BUILD = 6221002

Should be:

VERSION BUILD=6221002

Re: help its not working

Try assigning a value before using the iimSet command:

ex:

FileSocial = ss1(x) + ss2(x) + ss3(x)
iret = iim.iimSet("Social", FileSocial)

This way, you could also see the value that is being passed.

Re: Compare data

The DOS Commands will not do exactly what you have in mind, but you could create you own VBScript. Here is a quick example of one that compares 2 files writes the differences to a third. Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Const ForReading = 1 Const ForWriting = 2 Const ForAppend...

Re: Negative Relative Extraction Problem

I have placed this in some of my Macros to ignore an error. SET !LOADCHECK NO ' ============================================================== ' Loadcheck is turned off so an error would not occur if ' an input tag is not found. ( May only have 3 rows not 10 ) ' =====================================...

Re: Why won't this go to the specified url

The path wouldn't make a difference. I only used "C:\" because I dont have an "E" Drive. :?

I would "assume" that you didn't make any change to the Macro. If that is the case, make sure you removed the "!" from the line: URL GOTO= URL{{!url}}

Also, remove the space.

Good Luck,
Brian

Re: Why won't this go to the specified url

Please make the following code changes and it will work.

Code: Select all

VERSION BUILD=6111228 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
SET !DATASOURCE c:\mydata.txt
URL GOTO={{url}}
MyData.txt

Code: Select all

[iOpus]
url=http:\\www.google.com
Make sure you have the path in the URL variable.

Re: Extracting a URL from a simple page

The quick answer is when you extract the TAG, use the HREF instead of the TXT. EXTRACT=HREF Here is an example from one of my macros. I am running a script and passing the next line to retrieve the link address. '---------------------- 'Website Address '---------------------- TAG POS={{NAMEPOS}} TYP...

I couldn't get this to work with FireFox, but it did work with iMacros Browser. I removed the URL Address and I didn't have any issues. Here is a sample of a VBScript program. Copy this code into a file with the extension VBS. Re: Captcha Recovery

You can have 2 separate macros, Run the first one until you get to the CAPTCHA Screen. Once you key in the valid data, run your second Macro.

-- Or use the scripting version and check to see if the page is valid.
