Re: tech Support plz

Hello, I am not tech support, but Java != JavaScript. If / else constructs that you would use are in JavaScript not Java. Your message is not clearly outlining what you are trying to achieve (?) What it really sounds like you are trying to do is a loop construct in JavaScript. If that's the case the...

Re: ERROR: Recording of macro fails to record certain "clicks"

Hello, Take out all of the backslashes between the *'s gives you the following. Go back to your iMacro that failed and try cutting / pasting this: http://assets.myyearbook.com/dragon_drop/white_x.gif <mild tangent> For future reference the ^ and the $ characters are used in regular expressions. ^ me...

Re: ONDOWNLOAD command not working properly

Hello,

I have also encountered this problem. For me the answer was to use a full path with all lower case letters to show the full path of the folder. I also use the SAVEITEM command after the CLICK or TAG command. Hopefully this works for you.

Need to logout and login to reuse macro

Hello, I am using this macro on a corporate intranet so I cannot post a public link. However, I'm hoping someone can read my problem description and give me ideas on what to try. I have a macro that works with Agile PLM to export some Excel files for me. I did not put the login information into the ...

Useful extensions for Firefox + iMacros

Hello all, I have been using iMacros for about a month and find the following extensions helpful. I use them for debugging problems when iMacros does not automatically determine the "right" button to click. Perhaps these will be useful to you and maybe there are other useful extensions tha...

Re: v6.0.5.3 - issues with file download (ONDOWNLOAD)

Hello, I have also tested the public ONDOWNLOAD example and it works. However, the trick is that you must use all lower case letters. This seems like a bug to me, but maybe that is the intended behavior. At a minimum this should probably be documented in the parameters for this feature. http://wiki....

Re: WAIT SECONDS=#DOWNLOADCOMPLETE#

Hello Tech Support,

Thank you for your answer here; I know it was confusing to me. It seems like the WIKI is inconsistent with this answer so it might be good to update that document.

Re: how to perform a javascript action associated with an image?

Hello unworldly1, After re-reading the wiki and trying many variations I finally solved my own problem. Maybe part of my solution will apply to you as well. In my case there were 2 key data points that I was missing: #1. "MOUSEOVER" event trigger . This is an option for the CONTENT paramet...

Re: how to perform a javascript action associated with an image?

Hello,

I have a similar problem as this. iMacros fails to execute the javascript action in a web page for me. I know what javascript function I need to call, but how do we make this happen in an iim macro?

Hello George,

I tried to log in to the account below which didn't work for me. But I think you could make this work by using the X/Y click mode instead of the default for that one button.

Re: Macros List Not Displaying

Hello Sam, ... I moved the macro I recorded, but that did not help any, nor did restarting Firefox. I had a similar problem recently. For me the problem was I had the incorrect path located at tools -> Addons -> imacros -> options -> path I changed my path to the new / updated path for the imacros f...

Re: iMacro script syntax highlighting in Notepad++ editor

Hello,

On a slight tangent, Notepad++ is available as a portable application. This would enable you to have the syntax highlighting on a USB stick. I have userDefineLang.xml located at:
\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\App\Notepad++

Shared iMacros: Peoplesoft and Agile PLM

Hello world, My company heavily uses two web-based applications: "Peoplesoft" and "Agile PLM". I'm wondering if anyone else on here has already developed a library of useful iMacros for these applications? I didn't find anything when I tried searching http://del.icio.us/imacros/a...
