Re: Memory leak?

As a short test, I've run the following javascript for the last 2.5 hours. var TRUE = 1 var ret do { ret = iimPlay("Demo-FillForm") } while (TRUE) Memory usage has increased from 80 Mb at the start to 180 Mb at present. The macro is still running successfully. I suspect the freezes are separate from...

Re: Memory leak?

I don't think the freeze happens very quickly. I run several macros from javascript within an infinite do...while loop. I usually notice the lock-up once I have left it running for a while, so there are probably hundreds or thousands of loops. Sometimes it has frozen within an hour; sometimes it run...

Re: iMacros for Firefox V6.0.7.5 released (Sep 18, 2008)

I've also noticed that the application sometimes still hangs while loading a page. When I come to inspect it, the firefox taskbar reads Waiting for url , but nothing happens in imacros. The imacros timeout is not running, and the macro is stuck at the URL step. When I manually refresh the page, the ...

Memory leak?

I am frequently experiencing what seems to be a large memory leak. Often, when I close Firefox down it will not restart because Windows reports that Firefox is still running. I have to kill the process in Task Manager before Firefox will run again. Task manager reports Firefox still running with a m...

Re: iMacros for Firefox V6.0.7.0 Beta released (Sep 5th, 2008)

The 802 message isn't appearing anymore, but I'm still getting lock-ups - this time with no message at all. When it's hung, pressing the Stop button will usually end the macro, allowing the javascript to continue. I'm experiencing this even with only one tab in one window. I'm also seeing huge memor...

Re: Mysterious Macro Stoppage

Whenn I get 802 errors there is nothing in my Firefox error console, whether !ERRORIGNORE is YES or NO.

Re: Timeout error 802

That's not what I've experienced with javascript, skippyto. if SET !ERRORIGNORE YES The script just hangs up, waiting for the page to load, then will continue of the page ever loads. If it doesn't, you are stuck. if SET !ERRORIGNORE NO the script just hangs, then exits the script once you OK the 802...

Re: a little technical help

I excluded *POST* but it's made no difference. I'm now wondering whether I'm only getting the error when I have multiple windows up. Perhaps imacros or greasemonkey is getting confused over which window to use.

Re: a little technical help

My script ran for over 24 hours, but eventually I got the POST popup again.
Thanks for the tip; I'll investigate excluding *POST* or something.

Re: a little technical help

I've had some success with this. My script does seem to carry on after an 802 error. However, it is now sometimes hangup up asking if I want to resend POST data, and waiting for em to click OK on the popup. I think there is a conflict bewteen greasemonkey and imacros. Some of my imacros press button...

Re: ERRORIGNORE YES doesn't work on TIMEOUT

Hi! Thanks to the pointer to your work-around. I've used it with partial success. I'll comment on the problems I still have under that thread, where it might be more useful.
Cheers,

I'm getting the same problem on Firefox 2.0.0.16.
It's very frustrating.

802 timeout error halting my script

I have a javascript that runs continuously in an infinite loop. However, it hangs up occaisonally with a popup window declaring an -802 website timeout error. (I couldn't find this error number listed on your reference pages.) Since my loop is infinite, I'd like to simply ignore this error and try a...
