Run scripts locally from a remote web address?

I was just wondering if it's possible to run scripts that are hosted on a web server somewhere? At the moment, I can link to scripts by creating a link to http://run.imacros.net/?m=script.js and it will run script.js because script.js is located in the folder specified by Folder Macros under Paths -...

Re: VIM Syntax Highlighting for iMacros?

I've updated the attached file again:
Added a couple more highlight groups and changed around some of the colour associations so they work better with 256 colour color-schemes.

RobotCow wrote:What editors are supported for iMacros with Firefox in Linux? It would be nice to see support for Vim or gVim and gedit.
See this thread for the syntax highlighting script I created for VIM/GVIM:

Re: VIM Syntax Highlighting for iMacros?

Ah, that was my problem, I was putting it in the ftplugin directory instead of the plugin directory. Fixed and now it loads the syntax file automatically whenever I open a .iim file. Cool! I've also updated the iim.zip attachment in the previous post again as I've fixed a whole heap of stuff and inc...

Re: VIM Syntax Highlighting for iMacros?

I doubt anyone's downloaded this yet, but I've just now updated it so it highlights a further 50 or so commands I found by testing this out on all the demo scripts. File attached in previous post has been changed to the new version. Another screenshot of GVIM in Windows XP with the default colour sc...

Re: VIM Syntax Highlighting for iMacros?

Awesome! Thanks for that. This has allowed me to create a syntax file, woo! (: It's pretty basic and I'm sure there are quite a few things that may not work properly, although I've tested it out on about 40 varied scripts I maintain and use regularly and it seems to work fine. The following are some...

Re: How do I get past a Google Captcha security word box

Hell no. (:

That is the whole point of the captcha; to stop machines from getting past without the intervention of a human.

Run an iMacro from inside an iMacro?

Sorry if this question is answered somewhere, I've tried to search for it but don't really know what keywords to use. (:

Basically I want to be able to have an iMacro that runs another iMacro at some point (doesn't really matter if it returns to the original iMacro afterward or not).

Cheers,

VIM Syntax Highlighting for iMacros?

Has anyone already tried to get this working? Searches through the forum and google would suggest not. I've actually been trying to find guides for how to create VIM syntax highlighting files but can't find anything particularly helpful. If someone can point me in the right direction I'll make one m...

Re: Pages loading too quickly and breaking Macro

I considered doing that but the wait can be anywhere from 0 to 30 seconds and averages about 2 seconds so it won't work really well.

Pages loading too quickly and breaking Macro

I have the following pseudo-script: 1. Click button on webpage <Webpage refreshes with new set of buttons> 2. Click one of the new buttons <Webpage refreshes with new set of buttons again> etc. The problem I come across is that iMacros will try and click the new button in step 2 before the webpage h...

Re: Extracting a URL from a simple page

That gets the URL of the page you're on (not what I want).

I want the URL that is shown in the source code I pasted

Extracting a URL from a simple page

The entirety of the page consists of the following: Your URL is: <a href='http://x.com/abc'>http://x.com/abc</a> Note that's the complete source of the page, there is no <html>, <body> or anything like that. The URL there changes depending on what is put into the previous page, I can't seem to find ...
