I currently use: TAG POS=1 TYPE=* ATTR=TXT:*Hello<SP>World* EXTRACT=TXT But this code doesn't always work !! Sometimes it returns "#EANF#", even if the text IS present somewher...

It doesn't work actually. """ doesn't work either. Both are pasted without being interpreted (ie: """, not """);

But thanks for the suggestion!

Re: TAG CONTENT can't start with a quote

- The FF plugin allows for using \" to escape double quotes I use firefox and scripting (-fx) and this doesn't work for me. I tried: TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=NAME:* CONTENT=\"Hello<SP>World" and TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=NAME:* CONTENT=\\"Hello<SP>World" In both case I see the "\" in the tex...

TAG CONTENT can't start with a quote

This code: TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=NAME:* CONTENT="Hello<SP>World" results in Hello<SP>World being inserted in the textarea. There is no way I found to insert ( with the quotes): "Hello World" The only temporary workaround I found is to start the content with a <SP>: TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FOR...

No, I want it to exit.
But since I launch another macro right after the first that fails, the error popup is still there and I don't need it.

Is it possible to disable the error popup?

Note that I don't want the errors to be ignored in my macro, I need to use "SET !ERRORIGNORE NO". But I would prefere no popup to be displayed visually when it occures.

Is it possible to disable this popup?

Re: Firefox re-downloads an image when saving it!

I need to do more testing to confirm this, but I think the following firefox extension actually workarounds the issue: Better Cache. You can force the images to be cached.

You can then use the CLEAR command to really clear the cache when you need to.

Trick to deal with the way Firefox TAB count is done

As you know, using firefox for your scripting (using the "-fx" flag) is tricky when you have to know the exact position of the tab you are in. If you launch multiple macros and deal with more than one tab, you can't just use "TAB T=2", for example, and be sure you really are in the second tab. My wa...

Firefox re-downloads an image when saving it!

I use scripting + Firefox 3.5.1 (-fx) When I try to save an image: ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=C:\test FILE=test.jpg TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=ID:test CONTENT=EVENT:SAVEITEM Firefox doesn't take the already downloaded image but instead downloads a new copy of the image! I did test that by generating a dynamic i...

Re: SAVEAS doesn't work well for all web pages

Thanks for the report and your update. However, I cannot reproduce this problem. When recording your "page", the following macro is created that works (and saves the page) just fine: SAVEAS TYPE=CPL FOLDER=* FILE=+_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}} Thanks for the reply. I switched to firefox now so it's not...

Re: SAVEAS doesn't work well for all web pages

Update:

SAVEAS TYPE="CPL" works in Firefox, even with incomplete webpages.
