Re: Get Clipboard Text Extracted from Macro?

Ah. You're writing the innerHTML. How about something like this:- iimSet("WORDS", wordsmod); iimPlay( "CODE:URL GOTO=javascript:updateCells('{{WORDS}}');"); Assuming you've already defined variable wordsmod and in your HTML page:- <script type="text/javascript"> function updateCells(content) { var e...

Re: Get Clipboard Text Extracted from Macro?

Why put it in the clipboard then? Just extract it in macro1.iim, then using iimGetLastExtract() send it to macro2.iim using iimSet()

Code: Select all

iimPlay('macro1');

iimSet('theData', iimGetLastExtract());

iimPlay('macro2');

Reference the data in macro2.iim with variable {{theData}}

Re: .Csv

You can start the search from a different row number by setting the !DATASOURCE_LINE variable, so you can simply skip the rows on the next run

Code: Select all

SET !DATASOURCE_LINE 5
Will skip rows 1 - 4

Re: Why the code recorded for form input by iMacro cannot work

1. Can we set how many times we loop in the coding instead of set it in under iMacro Play(Loop)? Only by using a JavaScript loop instead and launching an iMacro inside the loop. 2. I have some data starting from leading zero everytime I opened the csv file, I need to revise them again, either by ad...

Re: Record errors during replay?

If you look at the online help for the iimPlay function, it returns error codes. You could do something like this:- const RETURN_OK = 1; const totalMacros = 10; const separator = '|'; var macroErrors = new Array(); var macroName; for( var i=0; i<totalMacros; i++) { macroName = 'Level2/macro' + (i +1...

Re: Record errors during replay?

You would need to create a JavaScript macro that executes each iMacro command as a separate macro and log the return value of the iimPlay and/or the iimGetLastExtract functions. The easiest way to store it, would be to post the data to a web page that handles the storage, most likely by a server sid...

Re: How Can I Extract this HTML/Javascript from page?

You're talking about accessing the page DOM, when the Javascript you're executing is in the scope of the plugin, therefore restricted to the Plugins DOM. To access the page, you'd have to create a page with a frame, that has the Javascript you want, then set the frames source to be the page you're t...

Very similar to Javascript really, with the exception that you would be required to purchase the scripting edition. You should probably look in the associated forum for how-to.

Re: How to minimize erros?

Timeouts because iMacros is trying to find an element before it has been rendered. You can ignore it by setting the ignore errors flag, you can increase the timeout waiting for the element or you can add a short delay (via WAIT) before the TAG line to give the browser time to render the page. All of...

Re: Why the code recorded for form input by iMacro cannot work

As there may be several text boxes whose ID begins with PRMT, it alone will not be unique. There are several options you can choose: - If the textbox is always the n th textbox with that id on the page, you can use a wildcard ID and use POS= n Choose a different attribute of the element Combine Attr...
