Re: Parsing Scraped Data Into Excel

it depends how you're inserting your value. what you probably need to do is select the first cell, enter the first value, move to the next cell enter the 2nd value etc. if you mean iimGetLastExtract brings it all back at the same time, you can use: iimGetLastExtract(1) iimGetLastExtract(2) to return...

Re: Imacros for a demo

you can buy a bundle of 5 player licenses here:

http://iopus.com/store/

or if you buy the bundle, you can always move the license to a different machine when you know where you want to put it. (i think i've used it on about 3 different machines, just by swapping player/scripting licenses over)

Re: PLEASE HELP, I'M NEW With iMacros!

for a wait between macros, form your js file, i cheat and use this:

Code: Select all

iimPlay("CODE:WAIT SECONDS=5")
this gives you a 5 second pause.

to run another macro after an error use:

Code: Select all

if (retcode<0) {
iimPlay("ErrorControlMacro")
}

Re: Trouble using iimPlay in JS

you can't use iimPlay within the macro code itself.

you need to either replace iimPlay("Bash") with the actual code from your bash macro.

or you can break your macro in to 3 parts.

p1 is everything before iimPlay("Bash")
p2 is everything after.

then you do
iimPlay(p1)
iimPlay("Bash")
iimPlay(p2)

Re: Loop

you can do basic looping with the standard iMacros plugin, using the Play (Loop) button. If you want to do a loop within a loop e.g. extract m results from n pages. Then you'll need to use the scripting interface. http://wiki.imacros.net/Web_Scripting http://wiki.imacros.net/iMacros_for_Firefox#Java...

Re: How to pass NEWLINE char to textarea?

in VB/VBA a new line is VbCrLf, it'll need to be outside your string, so something like this: dim x x="Hi." & vbcrlf & "How are you?" iret = iim1.iimSet("input", x) iret = iim1.iimPlay("CODE:TAG POS TYPE=INPUT:TEXT ATTR=ID:* CONTENT={{input}}") this is untested and written off the top of my head, yo...

Re: Help Making a .Js macro loop

easiest option: var macro; var jsLF = "\n"; var i, retcode, errtext; var MyDelay; var MyPosts; for (i = 1; i <= 200; i++) { MyDelay = Math.round(10*Math.random()); iimDisplay("Random wait t="+MyDelay); macro = "CODE:"; macro += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:Find<SP>an<SP>Opponent" + jsLF; macro += "TAG...

Re: Starting Imacros from a Website

yes. the way you do it makes a big difference though. for example if you trigger the macro through javascript embedded on the page, it will require the user to have iMacros installed, which they probably won't. Or if you do it with Server side scripting, then the script will be executed on the serve...

Re: Code question

you would have to use the scripting interface.

with that you can interrogate the return code, and if its <0 run the macro again

Re: Data Extraction - Duplicate Value Check / Last Line

you would have to use the scripting interface for this, and even then, its not going to be the nicest solution i've written... the way i would do it would be to use the scripting interface to control your looping and scraping, and between each scrape, delete the file index.csv, then re-create it usi...

Re: iimInit Weird Behaviour in Excel VBA

its because you're creating a new instance of the iMacros object itself with CreateObject("imacros")

Try passing the iim1 object down into the function, then remove the CreateObject call from the second function.

Re: Imacros scripting Error Passing parameters using -fx opt

try dropping the -var_ , i haven't used that with my scripts for a while, and it could be causing the issue.
