Re: Search of HTML Source File of webpage.... HELP!

it depends on exactly what you want to extract, and if you want to actually extract it. If you just want to know a a particular word is on the page, then i can think of about 3 ways you might do it. if you want to know if one of a number of words is on a page, then again a different solution. you'd ...

Re: start imacro script on web server(web page)

ah, so you want to schedule your task to run at a certain time? http://wiki.imacros.net/Automation#Schedule_Tasks although if you want this to run FROM a web server, you'll need imacros installed on the server. if you just want to hit a webpage every 24 hours, you can schedule your macro to run from...

Re: imacros error

hmmmm, so you want the script to be able to pause at an unknown point, alerting the user, then continuing where it left off?

Re: Looping Through Links

Essentially what you want is: Do While iret>0 iret = iim1.iimPlay("Macro that clicks the next link") iret = iim1.iimPlay("Macro to scrape the page") iret = iim1.iimPlay("CODE:BACK") Loop If your page scraping macro needs to run in a loop, you can just script another loop at that point, instead of ru...

Re: How to Set an action to tekst

You won't be able to do this using a macro alone, you'd need to use the scripting version. Basically you'd need to do this: ReturnCode = iim1.iimPlay ("YourExtractionMacro") Extract = iim1.iimGetLastExtract() if Extract = "Test" then 'macro to click img_2 else 'macros to click Img_1 end if check out...

Re: Datasource problem

try this in a csv file: (Nas.csv)

Code: Select all

aaa,111
bbb,222
ccc,333
ddd,444
eee,555
fff,666
ggg,777
hhh,888
iii,999
you'll need to change your macro by removing the SET !LOOP 52 line, otherwise it will skip to a blank line

Re: Datasource problem

if i use this as a text file: aaa;111 bbb;222 ccc;333 ddd;444 eee;555 fff;666 ggg;777 hhh;888 iii;999 then for me columns 1 and 2 get joined together, so the first loop i get content 1 - {{!COL2}} - bbb;222 content 2 - {{!COL1}} - aaa;111 but i know the delimiter is based on your windows settings. t...

Re: Looping through pages without Next as an option

I think what you want is

Code: Select all

i = 1
Do
i = i + 1
iret = iim1.iimset("PageLoop", i)
iret = iim1.iimplay("OVL Loop")

If (i-1 Mod 10) = 0 Then
iret = iim1.iimplay("CODE:TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:Next*")
End If

Loop
This will trigger on the 11th, 21st, 31st, 41st etc loops.

Re: Datasource problem

point 1 would be, your macro i only ever going to put line 52 due to: SET !LOOP 52 SET !DATASOURCE_LINE {{!LOOP}} so check what you have in those rows finally check your CSV in a text editor, and make sure there aren't additional columns in it (e.g. email,zip, ) as this would actually be a 3 column ...

Re: Skip a step?

i'd do it this way

Code: Select all

SET !TIMEOUT 2
SET !ERRORIGNORE YES
step 1
SET !TIMEOUT 60
SET !ERRORIGNORE NO
step 2
This means if step 1 fails (timeout will be 2 seconds to fail) then the macro will continue on to step 2 which will be treated normally
