Re: Macro hadn't worked this time around.

Hello,

It could be that something changed in the HTML coding on yahoo for that button. Try re-recording the macro again for yahoo, or look at the HTML source for the page and manually correct your macro code.

Hello,

Any web proxy (non-SOCKS proxy) should work. Take a look at http://wiki.imacros.net/PROXY for more information.

Re: Forum Backups?

Yes, iMacros is capable of doing this, but wouldn't a better/safer solution be to use built-in backup functionality provided by the forum software (if available) or an OS/file-level backup?

Re: Imacros scripts are not able to run in FF

Also, version numbers in the macro code typically don’t matter – it's purely informational. Perhaps you can can post an example of a macro you are having trouble getting to run in both browsers and we can try to find a solution.

Re: running multiple Imacros(30+) with imagesearch 24/7

Hello,

Even though image recognition is processor intensive, you should still give it a try. You should also consider using iMacros V7 which uses a new image recognition algorithm.

Re: Plugin crashes/freezes FF

Hello, We were unable to reproduce this on our Win 7 x64 test machine. What version of Firefox are you running? Do you have access to another machine where you can test it? You might also want to try the latest beta version of the plugin: http://wiki.imacros.net/iMacros_for_Firefox#Version_History

Re: ONDOWNLOAD problems

Hello,

There have been some known problems with ONDOWNLOAD that you can read about in this post:

ONDOWNLOAD filename not working

These issues have been fixed in iMacros V7:

http://wiki.imacros.net/Upgrading_to_Version_7

I suggest trying it in V7 first.

Re: How could "http://run.imacros.net/?code=" support parameter?

Hello, No, it's not possible to pass parameters to this URL, but as a workaround, take a look at the the following topics on generating these URLs on the fly: http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10178&start=0 http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?t=3604 Another option is to prompt the user...

Re: SyntaxError: can not parse macro line: ATTR=ID:mod_views_map

One other thing to note here, you said the macro started with: ATTR=ID:mod_views_map TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:citysel_1 WAIT SECONDS=2 ATTR is a parameter of the TAG command, and hence can only appear on a line starting with TAG, and not as a line by itself. This is why you were receiving a syntax e...

Re: how to handle changable ids

Hello,

You might want to try using a wildcard in the ATTR parameter, for example:

Code: Select all

TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=NAME:_id5 ATTR=ID:_id5:partydetail*

Re: Help With Version Change

Hello John, Typically, if you are running a macro that was created with an older version of iMacros, you want to leave the VERSION BUILD value set to the older version as this is used for backward compatibility control. If you are re-recording the macro in the newer version then this value should be...
