Re: SET command not working in under JavaScript when extract

Set instruction seems to be working fine as per your code however there is error with opening a new website. Perhaps there is issue with regular expressions. Have you tried "Prompt {{!Var1}}" to see if you are receive the variable properly. Try this: SET !VAR1 EVAL("var s=\"{{!EXTRACT}}\"; var t = s...

It has been a week and I haven't received any response yet; just telling other experts that I already tried!

Re: Extracting data

Try changing extension of text file in to CSV and later access it through:

CmdLine !Datasource FILENAME.CSV
Set !Datasource_Columns [totalcols]
Set !Loop [_number_where_you_want_to_start_]
Set !Datasource_Line {{!Loop}}

Re: Javascript 10+2, why is 102? I need 12

Try this:

increment = parseInt(loop) + 2;

This will convert 'loop' variable to number and then you can add any number normally.

Re: Close all except most left tab

CloseAllOthers won't work since iMacro doesn't offer tab number; active tab is always T=1 and all other after active tab are accessible. Javascript doesn't seem to work either, however you can keep track of total opened tabs pro-grammatically by keeping track whenever a tab is open or closed.

Re: Save Dynamically Generated HTML Source

One big possibility of NOT SEEING html content while viewing source would be usage of IFRAME tag. Websites usually add iframes for showing external content or blocking normal users from modifying content using "Inspect Element". All content shown inside a frame is never part of master HTML, try reco...

Re: Need to hire an Imacros expert

@chivracq, thanks for the suggestion,

Yes, I've got good experience with js based scripts rather than simplified .iim scripts. I have scripts for almost all social media platforms and can make scripts for all scenarios. Check my personal blog for details.

Re: I need a script that will post comments on a website

Your project seems to be quite easy to code however things may get tricky if the targeted website uses advanced form of coding including aJax/jQuery/jSon for manipulating data. PM me if you are still looking for some to code it for you.

More info is required to resolve your issues however here is a simple solution that might help you:

TAG POS={{!Loop}} TYPE=P ATTR=* EXTRACT=TXT

now, hit PLAY (Loop) button.

Re: select the last item in a dropdown menu

Why don't you find the OPTION through it's name?

Something like:

Tag Pos=1 Type=Select Attr=something.. Content=$Value1

Re: Slow speed of running through Javascript

Yes, you can make it little faster; just follow these steps: 1) Goto iMacro Settings and un-Check these 3 -> Scroll to object when found -> Highlight object when found -> Show JavaScript during reply 2) Finally hit Play button and once it starts, hit F8 button You will see visible speed with this!
