Re: How do I do this?

Oh, I see - you want a macro that just enters text but does not select any field, right? Bad news - you can't do it with TAG command (cannot fill a field without 'going there'). Good news - you can use Direct Screen technology in Internet Explorer. My advice: Try going with TAG command - maybe targe...

Re: WARNING: run.imacros.net and imacros://run no longer wor

Maybe it's not intentional of iOpis for this not to work. Latest plugin contains line: this.runPattern=new RegExp('^(?:http://run\\.imacros\\.net|'+'imacros://run)'+'/\\?(code|m)=(.*)'); which would suggest that there might be just a bug in code somewhere. In that case: please fix it ASAP. EVERYONE:...

Re: EXTRACT=TXTALL is only supported in TYPE=SELECT?

LOL, this is good ;-)

Actually extract works in IE/FF when coded like this:
TAG POS=R1 TYPE=INPUT:RADIO ATTR=* EXTRACT=TXT

And it works in both IE and Firefox, despite being undocumented (to my best knowledge).
TXTALL just doesn't rise error in FF.

Re: Can I call the the macro recorded by 'iMacros' through J

Hello ajay, Yes, you can use the built-in Javascript scripting interface to call your macro from a script in Firefox. What you can do is use javascript language to program iMacros plugin - that is use .js file instead of .iim file. But the restrictions are: a) to run, macro.js needs to be on local ...

EXTRACT=TXTALL is only supported in TYPE=SELECT?

Following code words in Firefox (linux): TAG POS=101 TYPE=SPAN ATTR=class:label EXTRACT=TXT TAG POS=R1 TYPE=INPUT:RADIO ATTR=* EXTRACT=TXTALL Second line simply returns value of input:radio. Nothing complicated... In IE it raises an error: Error -1200: EXTRACT=TXTALL is only supported in TYPE=SELECT...

Re: Scripting tabs in IE

I've found a quirky workaround that might be of wider use in this case. My problematic popup only does one thing: fire up a callback javascript function in parent window, that fills hidden fields. This is typical popup use, at least in our codebase. So I go (URL GOTO) to the url that is opened in po...

PROMPT "type:" !VAR1 TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=NAME:banner_edit ATTR=ID:banner_edit_viewsLimit CONTENT={{!VAR1}} Just tested it and it works. So: record your own version of inputing into that field and change source code so that CONTENT={{!VAR1}} Replay asks you for input and then enters what y...

Re: *** URGENT HELP NEEDED *** Unable to download PDF

You could set up an action (ie. click some button with TAG ..) that popups download dialog and then proceed as described here:

Scripting tabs in IE

There is a huge problem with Internet Explorer iMacros - TAB T=2 tag not working. No new windows nor popups can be tested/scripted in iMacros for IE. Popups are really common in intranet interfaces - they simplify app design. What do I do now? My company made a financial commitment buying iMacros En...

Re: Search of HTML Source File of webpage.... HELP!

Write a javascript macro for firefox, that extracts and compares field against keyword. If results are interesting, have the script to poke your backend server with ajax. The backend does the rest: plays mp3 (must write a widget for that with remote connection api) and sends a SMS. Some serious prog...

Re: Problem with fields that mask data

Tried inserting content with dashes (preformatted)? Do try. If reformatting is done onblur(), add to your script clicking some random element on a page (a near table cell for example) to let javascript do it's job (don't submit the form directly after entering content for those fields - onblur might...

Compatibility - chrome versions

What versions of Chrome were tested with V3.02 BETA iMacros plugin? I use unstable Chrome build, 12.0 under Ubuntu Linux and some features of interface doesn't work. For example a) one cannot use folders to store macros - clicking on a folder does nothing (no arrows to fold/unfold also) b) context m...
