Re: Question About SEARCH command

Thanks MattBell87, i wish they would add POS and TYPE to the SEARCH command.

I was going to try using IMAGESEARCH because in my case i can also search through image, but then i realized it is not supported by imacros for firefox.

Re: Feature Requests & Bug Fix Requests. ADD YOURS!

Oh sorry Tom i didn't realize that, but there is another thing that i would like the next version of imacros firefox to use: 1. to add POS and/or TYPE to the SEARCH command in case a webpages source has more than one occurence of a specific string. 2. to include IMAGESEARCH in the new vesion. -32212...

Re: Question About SEARCH command

Thanks so much MattBell7. That really helps. But i just have one more question: Is there anyway that you can narrow down what the SEARCH command searches for in the source. For example if a webpage's source had many numbers between 0-99 and i wanted to search for a specific place where a number betw...

Question About SEARCH command

I was recently using the SEARCH command to search for a number between 1-8 by using this macro: SEARCH SOURCE=REGEXP:"([1-8])" EXTRACT=$1 PROMPT {{!EXTRACT}} And i noticed that when i tried searching on a page that had a multiple digit number on it. The !EXTRACT only showed the first number in the m...

Re: Feature Requests & Bug Fix Requests. ADD YOURS!

I would really like that the ONWEBDIALOG and ONERRORDIALOG commands to be supported and also that they can be global like !ERRORIGNORE.

that would really help me.

Re: Need Help Shortening This Macro

best i can do without the scripting interface: note, this is untested, may need tweaking to work for you. SET !ERRORIGNORE YES SEARCH SOURCE=REGEXP:"([1-8])" EXTRACT=$1 SET !ERRORIGNORE NO TAG POS=1 TYPE=* ATTR=TXT:*{{!EXTRACT}}* CONTENT=EVENT:FAIL_IF_FOUND How would this work if i was looking for ...

Re: Replayspeed-question

The problem in your case isn't where you put the command, the problem is that the command is incorrect.

The command is:

Code: Select all

SET !REPLAYSPEED SLOW
NOT...

Code: Select all

SET! REPLAYSPEED SLOW
you placed the exclamation mark in the wrong place.

Need Help Shortening This Macro

i have this macro that is about 200 lines long. what it does is clicks on a link, then searches for certain keywords (via TAG command) if found the macro errors, but if not found then clicks on a different link and repeats the search for the same keywords. here is the format of it: URL GOTO=http://e...

Re: Using SEARCH SOURCE=TXT

Nope, if it doesn't find it, it'll stop the script, same as every other iMacros command. You'll need to use the scripting interface if you want a different course of action depending on the outcome. Not necessarily, if you use this command, then the macro searches for the keyword and if it IS found...

You can do this using this macro: T={{!LOOP}} URL GOTO=http://example1.com TAB OPEN -NOTE: THIS MACRO IS ONLY FOR IF YOU WANT TO OPEN THE SAME URL OVER AND OVER AGAIN, OTHERWISE USE THIS MACRO: TAB OPEN T=2 URL GOTO=http://example1.com TAB OPEN T=3 URL GOTO=http://example2.com TAB OPEN T=4 URL GOTO=...

Re: Noob Question: How to conitnue loop on error

You can use the command SET!ERRORIGNORE YES ( http://wiki.imacros.net/!ERRORIGNORE ), so that the macro continues without having an error and stopping. But there is a default wait time that slows down the macro and you can speed this up by using the SET !TIMEOUT ( http://wiki.imacros.net/!TIMEOUT ) ...
