I think you are making things harder on yourself than you need to. By using the wildcard (*) you don't need to be very exact in your information feed. YOur line could be any of the following: TAG POS=1 TYPE=SELECT FORM=NAME:frmMovies ATTR=NAME:movie_id CONTENT=$3*10<SP>to<SP>Yuma or TAG POS=1 TYPE=S...

I have had some issues with this for other sites. I found that the winclick can be useful for getting around these issues. I added a click to activate the box (after making the selection) and another to activate a spot on the screen that is not the box which prompts the refresh. The following script...

THe SET !ERRORCONTINUE YES is not trivial. It is needed in order to get Imacros to iterate through everythign without getting held up.

As long as you only require one digit what is wrong with this? SET !ERRORCONTINUE YES TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=HREF:http://www.xxx.net/item.php?rate=1* TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=HREF:http://www.xxx.net/item.php?rate=2* TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=HREF:http://www.xxx.net/item.php?rate=3* TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=HRE...

THis is usually the result of a javascript command that changes the page wihtout loading a new one right? I think that what happens is Imacros is expectign a new page to load since it executed a command but with certain web 2.0 stuff you jsut change the current page by expanding a menu for example. ...

Try this: SET !ERRORCONTINUE YES SET !TIMEOUT 10 URL GOTO=javascript:function(); REST OF MACRO You may also need to add SET !TIMEOUT SOME BIGGER NUMBER SET !ERRORCONTINUE NO before going into the rest of the macro. This is pretty clunky but it seems to work most of the time for me. I have been worki...

I don't see why this should be an issue. In the Imacros browser the command determines the final state not whether to check the box or not. I tested with this page saved to c:\testpage.html: <html> <head> <title>My Page</title> </head> <body> <form name="myform" action="http://www.mydomain.com/myfor...

I was able to write a small test macro to do what you are describing on the Yahoo webpage. This macro extracts the top most headline and then pastes it into the search bar and searches for it. It shoudl be similar enough for what you are doing to help you out. As much as I hate IE I have no experien...

You can adjust the pos part of the tag command. Your command probably is something like this: TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:... If you change it to TAG POS=2 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:... It should click on the second instance of '...' which is the next button. You may also be able to do a URL jump as well with t...

Verison Emulation

I know from this post http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?t=2821 that I need to specify in the correct version number when playing back a macro. THis is an excelent feature and has doubtlessly saved me form untold hours of work and I appreciate it. Is there a way to record as an older version? FO...
