Re: How to select from a dropdown box

So you wrote a script and it looks something like this right? VERSION BUILD=6221002 TAB T=1 TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS URL GOTO=http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6737 TAG POS=1 TYPE=SELECT FORM=ACTION:./viewforum.php ATTR=ID:f CONTENT=8 THe last part of the last line CONTENT=8 is what governs the...

Re: Imacros to run from websites

AFAIK this is a Firefox only feature. Basically you do this: 1. record macro 2. in the edit tab click share macro 3. sharing macro creates a link that represents your macro code. You can post this link as is: http://run.imacros.net/?code=VkVSU0lPTiBCVUlMRD02MTExMjI4IFJFQ09SREVSPUZYDQpUQUIgVD0xDQpVUk...

Re: Help! imacro to press keys

[ Reason I cannot click it is because each of my posts end up different sizes, therefore the "continue" button is always at different spots. Positional clicks shoudl really only be used as a very last resort for this reason. Is there not some recording you can make other than a direct 2 screen comm...

Re: Help! imacro to press keys

WIldcards and a Prompt Command are what you need. THis works for posting to the barter section of Washington DC but you can switch it up to your needs. VERSION BUILD=6221002 TAB T=1 TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS URL GOTO=http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/bar/ TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:post TAB T=1 TAG POS=1 T...

Re: Random ID values and Wildcard does not work

I looked over their HTML and found a less elegant but hopefully more robust solution. VERSION BUILD=6221002 TAB T=1 TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS URL GOTO=https://www.taylorcountybank.com/online_banking1.htm FRAME F=1 TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=NAME:frmMain ATTR=ID:* CONTENT=WTF1 TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:PASSW...

Re: how to hide the password

Under tools --> options --> security you can choose to encrypt passwords or not. Make changes to that page and you should have it workign the way you expect in no time.

Random ID values and Wildcard does not work

In each load of the page in the script below the value after ID changes. bKYSIb will become some other 5 characters and it changes on each reload. Normally when the value of an element is changing on each replay I just wild card out the offending value and the macro then works. However, for some rea...

Re: wow so lost..copy and paste help

THis is really pretty simple. Once you extract the value Iopus gives you {{!EXTRACT}} as a variable so you can use that wherever you need to use the E-mail address you used. The macro below extracts some text from the google homepage and then searches for that data. Your macro will do essentially th...

Re: CSV data to select drop down menu?

When interacting with a drop down box you can choose your value 2 ways; By position or by value. When you describe this: The pull down is setup like this for number of bedrooms. CONTENT=1 selects 0 bedrooms CONTENT=2 selects 1 bedrooms CONTENT=3 selects 2 bedrooms CONTENT=4 selects 3 bedrooms You ar...

Re: can't play because it isnt listed

it doesn't seem to play some of the ones or list them! lol! I have tried changing the name to .iim and changing certain parts but nothing seems to work. I have done a bit more research into it, and have discovered that the working files on my macros folder opens with "Windows Shell Common Dll" But ...

Re: Easy Problem probably

6.1.1.0 is not the most current version. You shoudl upgrade to the most current version. Beyond that, you need to keep the version number line in the macro. When you record a macro a few lines are inserted automatically. They need to be in the macro. Specifically the line you are missing is: VERSION...

Re: Need help in creating a Macro...

Yes I'm a newbie... sorry if this question is answered elsewhere but the tutorial doesn't cover it. OK, first I should say I place alot of bids on a website called "eLance"... if anyone has created any macros for this site I'd love to see them. I'd like to understand how to tell the macro to close ...

God Bless In the Imacros browser go to Tools --> options --> paths. THere is an option called "Folder Macros" only macros in this folder will display on the left sid...

Re: Simple non-code loop, Possible?

The simple function would need to contain only the following lines.
