Re: [not solved]SAVEAS with variable folder?

I see. My real problem is only that i need to pass variables from iMacros.iim to iMacros2.iim . Than that's what you should have said, that would save some time :) I do not know a way to call one iim from another iim (not to say that there is not any who knows). But you could call one js macro from...

Re: [not solved]SAVEAS with variable folder?

Sounds fine, but my problem is how do i pass this to another iMacros. You generate iim file with whatever content you need from Javascript after pulling in the environment variable you want and concatenating it into macro string, and run the macro string using iimPlayCode(). That if variable cannot...

Re: [not solved]SAVEAS with variable folder?

Yes, you can do so in .js macro in FF (but not iim macro), in FF by resolving variable first with nslEnvironment
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... nvironment
(see the last example on the page) and generating iim code with the actual value.

Re: [FREE] iMacros to Java Script Converter

You're welcome ;) I'll think I'll combine it with the csv converter :) Good idea. And in csv converter, would be nice to get some confirmation that the file was written. Right now, pressing Create File button has no visual indication of success of failure, which is very unusual. The only way to fin...

Re: Is it possible to play a batch from iMacros/JS?

Thanks, your suggestion was the answer i was looking for. Using this code in a .js allows me to launch external applications: var file = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/file/local;1"] .createInstance(Components.interfaces.nsILocalFile); file.initWithPath("C:\\Users\\Administrator\\Desktop\\test.ba...

Re: [FREE] iMacros to Java Script Converter

Hello, first sorry for the late reply. Second, yes there is/are improvements. The iMacros Code Creator didnt escape in java scripts the " and \ symbols. Which means in several occasions that the code is finished here. Due this, iMacros responded with an error, since it couldnt read anything what ca...

Re: [FREE] iMacros to Java Script Converter

Thank you Tanckom.

Could you please give a hint in what way this converter has a leg up on iMacros Code Creator v0.16? Is there a feature or improvement over it that you implemented in this release?

Thanks!

Re: iMacros dettect

Luckily for the rest of us, no. You can make it more complicated for average iMacros user, using dynamic Ids, frames, etc, but ultimately if the game is played by user in web browser, it can be played by iMacros and you will never know. Because most use free plug-ins, not iMacros browser that comes ...

Re: Is it possible to play a batch from iMacros/JS?

You can from .js macros in FF, yes, using native Components.interfaces nsILocalFile.launch() method, as long as your cmd file does not take any parameters. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Code_snippets/Running_applications No way to do so from .iim directly, short of invoking FF add-ons ...

Re: [TUTORIAL] Protect/ Obfuscate iMacros Scripts

No, //imacros-js:showsteps yes only controls whether Javascript code is shown while it runs. iim code is ALWAYS shown, I don't know of a way to disable that. So, short of buying enterprise version with .iimx capability, and distributing free iMacros player that comes with it to all your users, there...

Re: [TUTORIAL] Protect/ Obfuscate iMacros Scripts

Hm, I thought that when the macro is running in FF, the code of the macro is displayed in the left-side of the screen iMacros panel with cursor running through its statements, so anyone can see it while the macro (generated by your obfuscated Javascript code) is running. All one has to do is to hit ...

And I do all my Scripts in pure '.iim', I don't use '.js' Scripts. Yep, nearly all my own Scripts include a heavy Level of Checks to ensure Reliability during the Run but with some Reporting as well by combining 'MacroError()' (that I "misuse" to display a mini-Report at the End of many of my Macro...

Thank you very much for your response chivracq. And let me take this opportunity to thank you for your contribution to the forum--more than half of all IMacros-related printouts on my desk are printouts of your posts, most of them related to conditional processing in .iim (brilliant!) and keystrokes...

How to detect page loading completion after leaving the tab

Hello, this is my first post as I've always been able to find my questions already answered on this forum, but not this time... I am running FF v47 with Imacros plugin v8.9.7 on Windows 7 64-bit system. I am trying to speed up filling out 3 to 18 forms, with each open in its own Firefox tab by .iim ...
