Re: Clicking a checkbox that is currently not there...

The problem is that I don't know how to write a code to click a checkbox that is currently not on the page itself. If I understood you right, the macro may look like URL GOTO=https://interwapp01.loudoun.gov/DFS_AppsPublic/ADUNewPublic/listings.aspx TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:ADUNewPublicFooter1_lbLis...

Re: Capturing EXTRACT data

I had been using PROMPT to capture user input data as a variable... PROMPT "Please enter text:" !VAR1 Unfortunately, PROMPT no longer works with the latest Chrome update. I encountered the same problem. Here is my workaround for that SET !VAR1 EVAL("prompt('Please enter text:');") PROMPT {{!VAR1}}

Re: Replacing All Characters

Okay, let the commas go away

Code: Select all

SET !VAR2 EVAL("\"{{!VAR2}}\".replace(/,/g, \"\");")

Re: Play all iim's within folder

In a few words, if you have imacros10 installed, apply the Scripting Interface. Check out this wiki topic and some others relevant to your case. As to me, I'm familiar enough with JS scripting interface for Firefox only. Thus to solve this problem, I would make a workaround in Chrome. Its main idea ...

Obviously I meant mostly your post. It seemed to me that @orican had chosen a wrong section and I didn't make a mistake because just free kindhearted help is needed.

Re: Play all iim's within folder

I think there's no direct way if you use only the free iMacros for Chrome extension. Maybe a certain workaround will help.

Re: Macro Doesn't Wait for Refresh to Complete

@aritzbastida, You can make the macro check the number of rows in the table and continue after it's got changed. Something like this SET !EXTRACT_TEST_POPUP NO TAG XPATH="//table[@border='1']/tbody/tr[last()]/td[1]/center/b" EXTRACT=TXT TAG POS=1 TYPE=BUTTON FORM=ID:formulario ATTR=NAME:boton_OK TAG...

Re: Simple Drag&Repeat macro

Hi, Here is how your starting point may look like SET startLoop 1 SET maxLoop 200 SET !LOOP EVAL(1-{{maxLoop}}+{{startLoop}}) SET normLoop EVAL({{!LOOP}}+{{maxLoop}}-1) ' Zoom out (25%) SET mod EVAL("{{normLoop}} == {{startLoop}} ? 'ctrl' : ''") EVENT TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR=* KEY=189 MODIFIERS={{mod...

Re: New to iMacros - need help scrolling & click script

Hello,

Yes, it's possible to scroll to a link containing a specific word like this

Code: Select all

SET !EXTRACT_TEST_POPUP NO
TAG POS={{!LOOP}} TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:*word* EXTRACT=TXT

Re: does x/y work in the chrome version?

It seems, no. At the same time the wiki for Firefox says CLICK (X/Y) record mode is now deprecated, use EVENT mode instead. Therefore you can use EVENT TYPE=CLICK SELECTOR="someSelectorHere" POINT="(12,345)" instead of CLICK X=12 Y=345 As far as I know, the wildcard * selector won't work for Chrome....

Re: Export macros from Chrome to imacros vs10

It is theoretically possible. I don't know if my plan described below will be practically simpler than what you're doing. So you have to: 1. Export bookmarks to HTML file. 2. Develop a macro/script which extracts necessary info from this local bookmark HTML file and creates corresponding 'iim's on y...
