Tech Supp: Incorrect Macro Recording w. Drop-down Boxes

When I record a macro on a page that contains drop-down boxes, the macro is recorded incorrectly :( . For example, on a page that contains a drop-down box for year, the following line was recorded, and produced an error when playing: TAG POS=1 TYPE=SELECT FORM=NAME:form1 ATTR=NAME:expyear CONTENT=20...

Re: How do I put Form Name in Variable?

Tech Support wrote:If you only need to distinguish between two known websites (with known form names), you can simply check for a keyword (text) on the website, and then run macro1 (with action1) or macro2 (with action2).
Sorry for being a newbie at this. How do I put the form name in the variable?

Re: How do I put Form Name in Variable?

No, the form name is not in the macro.
I will navigate to one of the 2 pages outside of the macro, and I need the macro to know which of the 2 pages I am on, e.g.
If I am on form#1 => action#1
If I am on form#2 => action#2

Re: ROBOFORM => iMACROS CONVERTER?

No, the application itself doesn't do the conversion, but it's pretty easy to parse the files and pull out the necessary information. Maybe you could add that step to your application? I would have no clue (I don't even know how to read the binary .rfp files)...:? It would help a lot of people in s...

Re: ROBOFORM => iMACROS CONVERTER?

Does your application do the conversion from Roboform, or only perform the encryption?
If it does, did you solve the Form name problem pointed out by tech support above?

Re: Firefox Plugin not listed in the Comparison Chart!?

You can compare all iMacros versions at http://www.iopus.com/imacros/compare/ iMacros for Firefox has no extraction wizard to create extract command, but it can replay the commands created in the iMacros browser. You can also create the extract commands manually by "converting" a TAG command . Huh....

How do I put Form Name in Variable?

How do get the name of the [current] form and place it in a variable (e.g. !VAR1)? For example, I may be on this page: TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:SUBMIT FORM=NAME:signon ATTR=NAME:submit&&VALUE:Log-in or on this page: TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:SUBMIT FORM=NAME:keyform1 ATTR=NAME:Submit&&VALUE:Submit In the 1st...

Re: Wait for User Input, and Then Continue?

Thanks, that works. However, is it possible for iMacros to detect that I clicked on the login instead? Clicking on the login would bring me to a a new page with a password form. The iMacros script would start looping every 0.1 sec to check if the form had changed. If it had changed, the loop would s...
