Re: imacros V7.4.0.1 is only for Firefox 4.0 - 8?

Here is another EVAL demo macro. It works in both, iMacros V7.5 Beta and iMacros for Firefox V7.4 and later. URL GOTO=http://www.iopus.com/imacros/demo/v7/eval.htm 'Wait a random number (1 to 5) of seconds SET !VAR1 EVAL("Math.floor(Math.random()*5 + 1);") WAIT SECONDS={{!VAR1}} SET !EXTRACT_TEST_PO...

Re: imacros V7.4.0.1 is only for Firefox 4.0 - 8?

Officially we only support 4-8, but as you said, it might still work for 3. We just don't test with Firefox 3 anymore.

Currently we recommend Firefox 7. It is very fast => ideal for web automation :)

Re: set random wait time between 50-60 seconds

Please use the new iMacros V7.5 Beta - here we have the new EVAL command that makes creating random values of all kinds super easy:

Code: Select all

SET !VAR1 EVAL("var randomNumber=Math.floor(Math.random()*10 + 50); randomNumber;")
URL GOTO=http://www.iopus.com
' waits 50 to 60 seconds
WAIT SECONDS={{!VAR1}}

Re: Chrome 14 problem: Can't run old / can't create new macr

Have support been able to reproduce the actual issue? No :( ...it works on all our test machines. This makes this issue so strange. Nevertheless, we are working on some ideas that might fix this issue. Once we have a beta, I will update this thread. In the meantime, any hint on how to create this i...

Re: macro freezes

First, iMacros should not freeze! Please post the macro and we will test. Second, the iimPlay (macro, timeout ) command allows you specify a timeout value. If the browser does not respond with that time (for whatever reason, this includes freezes by the browser itself or e. g. Flash), the scripting ...

Re: Is There A Way To Auto-Wait Scripts?

All iMacros editions auto-wait by design. It detects a page is loading, and waits until the browser signals the page is loaded.

Can you please post the macro that does not wait? And does it work with iMacros for Firefox and/or iMacros for IE?

Re: Chrome 14 problem: Can't run old / can't create new macr

To summarize: It seems the issue happens "only" when you want to store macros in bookmarks? Can everyone confirm this? macro storage chrome.png You can switch the display mode between file view ( white background in treeview) and bookmark view ( yellow background) with the "Macro storage" select box...

Re: Can't run old / can't create new macro's in Chrome

It doesn't seem to be iMacros being updated that is the problem, it was a silent Chrome update over last weekend that seems to have broken the macros. Yes, there was no iMacros for Chrome update in August and September (see http://wiki.imacros.net/iMacros_for_Chrome#Version_History). But to make th...

I ask because we have troubles recreating this issue (e. g. it works on my machine).
