Re: Click page by position instead of tag id

It took me a while, but I found it. While recording the macro, I found an option for Click Mode. One of the options there is by XY Position. I selected that, re-recorded and I was fine!

Thanks anyway. Maybe the question and answer will help someone else.

Click page by position instead of tag id

I need to select a position on a page by specific location instead of the tag id. Specifically, I am searching values. The top of the list is what I want regardless of the label of the tag. iMacros records this line: TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:35-6005953<SP> How do I modify it to select the tag regar...

Re: Windows Command Line...

Well the workaround here is to use custom variables. -var_varnm1 testvar -var_varnm2 AnotherVar and that works at the command line. Then, in the macro use>>> {{varnm1}} {{varnm2}}
Not sure why the other is not functioning.

Re: Windows Shortcut specifics...

Okay...I figured it out finally. What I listed works fine. I just had to get the right .exe with the correct macro in the correct folder. Then it finally worked!

Windows Command Line...

The following shortcut in windows is starting the macro, but the variables are not populating. Any suggestions? Will this work in the trial edition?

"C:\Program Files\iMacros\imacros.exe" -MACRO MacroName -VAR1 TestVar -VAR2 05/18/2008

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Re: Windows Shortcut specifics...

Since then, I have also tried:

"C:\Program Files\InternetMacros\imacros.exe" -macro[SP]acclaris-debit[SP]card[SP]trans[SP]setup

Still does not like it. It keeps returning, no macro error.

IE Save/Open Options Lost...

I was creating a macro to create, download and save a document. I was having some troubles getting past the Save/Open Dialog box being presented, so I tried checking the "Don't ask me again" box and now the document is opening every time instead of saving like I would like. I cannot find how to reve...
