Help using a LOOP?

I don't know how to write loops and have these 2 questions:
  1. If I want to repeat a task with a webpage's automation, which could be infinite, what exactly do I need to write, please give an example for an IMAGECLICK?
  2. Does using !LOOP mean that I don't have to click the Loop button?

Daniel, iOpus wrote: So if you have a method of converting the coordinates in to the ordinal position of the object, then yes.
  1. What do you mean by original position? I thought that the coordinates were the ordinal position of the object.
  2. How would the line of code look?

Can I use !ENDOFPAGE with coordinates?

Instead of selecting an area of a webpage for use with the !ENDOFPAGE cmd., I'd like to just use the coordinates written into macros when recording.

Not sure how to use -tray or -silent.

  1. Isn't their a wiki page that lists cmds. like -tray or-silent besides http://wiki.imacros.net/iimInit()#Parameters?
  2. Can the iMacros browser be open while using -tray or-silent?
  3. Please provide example macros with -tray or-silent?

Saving different elements from a website to a CSV doc.

Should I just use:

Code: Select all

SAVEAS TYPE=EXTRACT FOLDER=* FILE=*
How about in combination or Alone from the individual Tag cmds. & values per element type, such as:

Code: Select all

'Extract Page Title
POS=* TYPE=TITLE ATTR=* EXTRACT=TXT
&

Code: Select all

'Extract Page URL
ADD !EXTRACT {{!URLCURRENT}}

I want an example of the EXTRACT Parameter, ALT!

How would I manually find this alternative text? Is it what might be seen in the Properties window @ the context menu?

For your Reference, the parameter is listed on this wiki page
