Tips for using iMacros for Chrome freeware

With the release of iMacros for Chrome 10, some of iMacros functionality is now only available in the licensed version. These are features we believe are most likely to be used in a business environment and should not affect hobby users of iMacros for Chrome. Because we think there is still a lot of...

Re: Imacros 10.0 popup windows don't assume ok when press en

Hi, Previous versions of iMacros for Chrome used the javascript prompt() for its PROMPT command. However, since Chrome 56, the javascript prompt() is being suppressed if the tab is not in the foreground. iMacros PROMPT would be this case, and so we had to replace the popup in this version. The curre...

Re: how to show js on macro list?

Hi, Thanks chivracq for the support ticket on this topic. Thanks akosididot for evaluating iMacros Enterprise Edition. iMacros for Firefox is the only one which can natively run javascript. This because Firefox itself allows it while the other browsers do not. Thus, you only find javascript files li...

Re: Imacros browser not updating form when filling

Hi,

Once you have tagged the element, its XY coordinates can be retrieved with !TAGX, !TAGY. This way the positioning of the DS click is not dependent of the browser's size. The demo Drag-amdDrop.iim is a nice example using !TAGX and !TAGY.

Re: Imacros browser not updating form when filling

Hi,

You could try sending a DS click to that field, after filling it with TAG.

If that still does not work, try sending the keys with DS as well.

Re: iMacros 10.1 / Oracle OBIEE 11g / Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi, The OBIEE 11g environment does not support IE11, even with compatibility mode turned on. That could be the problem. iMacros Browser will emulate the Internet Explorer version which is installed in the system. If it does not work in IE11, it won't work in the iMacros Browser either, if IE11 is in...

Re: Paste into multiple textboxes at once

Hi,

You can access the clipboard text with iMacros variable !CLIPBOARD.

Then, I suggest you use the EVAL command to parse the contents, once for each new variable you need to create containing the parts. The EVAL command page has some very useful examples.

Re: Imacros Browser Please Help!

Hi, The iMacros Browser is not designed to browse the internet manually, as you are used to with other browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc. Instead, iMacros Browser is a powerful web record and playback tool. If you want to login automatically in a website with the iMacros Browser,...

Re: VARIABLES: Set COL variable to user defined variable

Hi, Yes, it is possible to have what you need. However you have to keep in mind that the !COL variables cannot be set, they are read from the datasource the first parameter in the SET command is the variable name you want to set, and the second parameter is the value you want to assign to that varia...

Re: How to Loop multiple times with CVS?

Hi, The best solution is to leave all this timing and looping to an external program or script, like vbs. The script would then use iMacros Scripting Interface to open the browser at given times, run the requests and close the browser again. Or, you can use Windows Scheduler to start iMacros for Fir...

Hi,

The expression inside EVAL is a javascript. If you would like to add more words to the array, I suggest you look in some tutorial how to initialize an array in javascript.

Re: Help needed please for Syntax error Error code 910

Hi,

Make sure your macro has only 3 lines:

Code: Select all

SET ...
URL ...
WAIT ...
The long statement in the URL GOTO line has to be all in one single line
