Re: Need some help with looping!

Hi,

As far as I understand your problem, you need nested loops. Those are only possible if you use a scripting language. In your case, you can use javascript and run it directly in iMacros.

There are many posts in the forums about javascript in iMacros for Firefox.

Re: What's wrong with this script?

Hi,

I checked the return code, and the error message, like in

Code: Select all

iret = iimPlay(macroStart,25)
var error = iimGetLastError();
alert(error);
and saw that one of the

Code: Select all

TAG POS=1 TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow
had no "\n".

Re: Loop Help Urgent Please

Hi, Then, as you did the rest by hand, do this part as well: use a different SET !DATASOOURCE_LINE before each part of your macro. No !LOOP at all. ... SET !DATASOURCE c:\numbers.csv SET !DATASOURCE_COLUMNS 1 SET !DATASOURCE_LINE 1 URL GOTO=http://www.example.com/sms.php ... SET !DATASOURCE_LINE 2 U...

Re: Loop Help Urgent Please

Hi, As suggested by bobis , add the line SET !DATASOURCE_LINE {{!LOOP}} somewhere between SET !DATASOURCE ... and using {{!COL1}}, remove the repeated lines in your macro (keep only the first set), and press the Play Loop button to run the macro several times, each time with a different value for !L...

Re: RuntimeError: element INPUT specified by ... not found

Hi, When I suggested the wait command, it was only to troubleshoot, to find out if the issue would be solved by waiting longer at that point. It does not mean you have to wait a fixed amount of time at that point always. What you need to do is to increase the step timeout value , which by default is...

Re: RuntimeError: element INPUT specified by ... not found

Hi, It looks like timing indeed. I guess you would get through if you added a longer waiting time at that point. Try something like 5 seconds. Besides that, the frame names are a bit more stable than the number which you have in your macro. The newer versions of iMacros Browser (or iMacros for IE) r...

Re: Help extracting dynamic data on page

Hello, What you want is to use a variable in that place. And the variable is going to be populated by a value you extract from that or some other page. A demo macro which does something similar is Demo-ExtractAndFill . The only difference is that you want to use the extracted value in a URL GOTO com...

Re: How to call Windows batch file from within a macro?

Hi,

Sorry, it is not possible to launch a batch file or any other external program from within iMacros.

However, it is possible to use iMacros from an external script or program, with iMacros Scripting Interface. This program or script can then do both, invoke the batch file and iMacros.
