Re: Check the URL of a image

Yes this is possible and fairly easy to accomplish using the iMacros Scripting Interface.

Re: Error accessing java webpage: java.lang.class NotFoundExcept

This sounds more like an issue with the Java app than with iMacros. Have you had any luck getting it (the Java app) to run?

Re: Need a favour...

Hi Hannah,

You can extract the URL by using the EXTRACT=HREF parameter on the TAG command (http://wiki.imacros.net/TAG#The_EXTRACT_Parameter). This will extract the URL without actually clicking through on it.

Re: How to open IE7 Browser using Excel 2007 in imacros

Hello,

The iMacros sidebar must be open in IE in order for it to work. Remember, if you close IE with the sidebar open, it will be open the next time IE is started.

Re: Need a favour...

Hi Hannah,

You might want to consider using extraction with relative positioning for this. Take a look at http://wiki.imacros.net/Data_Extraction ... ositioning.

Re: js test extracted date is bigger than specified date

Yes, you're correct. This isn't an iMacros-specific question, but my recommendation would be to make date comparisons using a Date object. You'll get better results with much less coding on your part. :)

Do you already have the iMacros sidebar open in IE so that it re-opens automatically when IE is started?

Re: How to open IE7 Browser using Excel 2007 in imacros

Hello, You can use iimInit() ( http://wiki.imacros.net/iimInit%28%29 ) with the "-ie" switch to open a new instance of IE or connect to an existing instance: Dim imacros, iret Set imacros = CreateObject("imacros") iret = imacros.iimInit("-ie") iret = imacros.iimPlay("c:\PATH_TO_MACRO") Is this what ...

Re: iMacro as a scheduled task, No macro Error !!

Try changing your scheduled task to start imacros.exe directly and specify the following argument:

-macro macro.iim

The full details (ie. the command line) should look something like this:

"C:\Program Files\iMacros\imacros.exe" -macro macro.iim

Re: Need help filling in drop down menu (with pic)

See if the following wiki article helps: http://wiki.imacros.net/TAG#Special_TAG ... Down_Menus. If this doesn't help and you are unsuccessful recording these actions, can you send me the macro code along with the URL where the problem is occurring?

Re: Check the URL of a image

Hello, You can extract the URL of an image using the EXTRACT parameter of the TAG command ( http://wiki.imacros.net/TAG#The_EXTRACT_Parameter ). For example: URL GOTO=http://www.google.com TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=HREF:http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/srpr/logo1w.png EXTRACT=HREF Is this what...

Could you provide some details on how exactly you are attempting to run iMacros from a scheduled task and from a desktop shortcut (i.e. what's the full command line you are specifying).

Re: How to just click a link but not make it load the page

For the first issue, before clicking the link, lower the timeout value ( http://wiki.imacros.net/TIMEOUT ) and tell iMacros to ignore errors ( http://wiki.imacros.net/!ERRORIGNORE ). Then set the timeout and error ignore values back to their defaults after clicking the link: SET !TIMEOUT 1 SET !ERRO...
