Re: Is it possible to Search and Replace Text on Website?
The "Reverse" Functionality" may not be the ideal way to do this, because I plan to test many different combinations of variables, and many different Algos. Furthermore, as soon as I press the "backtest" button, I leave the current page and will only return later. I am very ...

Re: Is it possible to Search and Replace Text on Website?
Thanks chivracq! I will not post your long quote either. Strange that iMacros is not recording the "select all". Good that you knew the commands! I wish that there was list of all the commands and Key Codes. I will go through, test and try to understand your second script shortly :) ! Howe...

Re: Is it possible to Search and Replace Text on Website?
I am so sorry, I had several trial versions of versions of EVENT Commands and pasted the wrong codes above. In any case, I have problems reproducing your recordings. Let me take it step by step (I really appreciate your help in trying to figure this out!): 1. To only select all text, I start EVENT r...

iMacros Doesn't Record Login Properly
I have just installed the latest Firefox and iMacros extension. However, I am not able to record a simple macro to login to websites. For example, when I try to record the login to this iMacros forum, I get this: VERSION BUILD=10021450 URL GOTO=https://forum.imacros.net/ucp.php?mode=login TAG POS=1 ...

Re: Is it possible to Search and Replace Text on Website?
Very Nice! How did you find the key codes; e.g. KEY=46 to delete the text? As I mentioned in my p.s. above, I need to implement your "proof-of-concept" solution on two other web pages. They are on a password protected site for back-testing stock trading strategies. Back-testing is a way to...

Re: Waterfox doesn't wait for page to complete loading
And hum, concerning your "other"/next Thread about "Search and Replace some Content...", you may want to delete that Thread yourself from the 'iMacros for FF' Sub-Forum and recreate it in the 'Data Extraction' Sub-Forum if you want me to eventually answer it  , or you'll h...

Is it possible to Search and Replace Text on Website?
Some websites have text fields where I can edit the text. Is it possible for iMacros to search and replace text in the text field? Here is a simple example: https://www.w3schools.com/js/tryit.asp?filename=tryjs_ifthen I would like to replace "Good Day!" with "Good Night!" Any ide...

Re: Waterfox doesn't wait for page to complete loading
Oh yeah...!, and stg I forgot to mention "a bit clearly", you probably had/have some Add-Blocker Add-on in FF52, like 'ABE'/'ABP'/'uBlock'/etc..., Nope, I dont use Adblocker in either one. But hum, stg not completely clear to me from your Description..., does the Page (in WF) load correct...

Waterfox doesn't wait for page to complete loading
I am migrating form an old Firefox to the current Waterfox. However, with many of my scripts Waterfox does not wait for the web page to complete loading before continuing. For example, the following snippet works fine in (old) Firefox URL GOTO=https://www.amazon.com/asv/reload/order?_encoding=UTF8&a...

Re: Javascript: Find Previous Business day
No need to respond. I have almost solved it with help of some code on the web. However, it would be very useful to learn how to use the moment.js library (https://www.webfx.com/blog/web-design/j ... moment-js/) in an iMacros javascript. (I posted this question as a follow up to an old post here: htt...

Javascript: Find Previous Business day
OK, so this question is maybe a little outside the scope of this forum, but maybe someone can help. I am trying to write a javascript that outputs the previous business day. For example, if today was Monday 6/15/20 it would return Friday 06/12/20. Saturday 6/13/20 and Sunday 6/14/20 would also retur...

Re: Find POS Based on Text?
But OK, back to your Qt..., well, your "POS=14" is "not best" indeed, that's pretty high, and not very "reliable"... But hum, your "NAME:ppw-instrumentRowSelection", is that the Name of the overall Radio Selection, of just the Name of that one Item within the...

Re: Find POS Based on Text?
FCIM...! :| Read the Forum Rules (again), your Sig is not the place for your FCI (if it's ueberhaupt your current FCI...!? :? ), as it's only confusing.... OK.. Moved the FCI away from the signature. Quick Reading, but Answer to your Qt is "yep, always possible", but it's probably ...

Find POS Based on Text?
I am getting rusty with iMacros.... :( I have macros that contain commands like this: TAG POS=14 TYPE=INPUT:RADIO FORM=ACTION:asv/reload ATTR=NAME:ppw-instrumentRowSelection It selects the radio button the 14th row position. The position may change from day to day. However, each such row on the web ...
