Frame text extract script

Post by Ravinder » Sat Nov 13, 2010 12:53 pm

Hi All,

I want a script which can extract all text of a frame on a web page.

For eg. When we give the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm
the macro must be able to extract all the text in the main frame, which contains the whole description related to that article.

I am using the below macro but its not extracting the text, instead it just extracts string #EANF#:

VERSION BUILD=5703
URL GOTO=http:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm

FRAME F=0

TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXT ATTR=TXT:* EXTRACT=TXTALL
SAVEAS TYPE=EXTRACT FOLDER="D:\IMacros\Utils\" FILE="OHM.txt"

Can anybody help me?Is above code correct?

I am using IMacros version 7.0.2.2 with Mozilla browser.

You don't need frame here.

Code: Select all

VERSION BUILD=7031111 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm
TAG POS=1 TYPE=DIV ATTR=ID:content EXTRACT=TXT
