TAB CLOSE now needed in code to stop error and imacros locku

Post by tgandy » Wed Sep 18, 2013 10:57 am

FF version 24
iMacros adding for FF 8.5.1

Previously I would have a script that had

Code: Select all

TAB T=3
FRAME F=0
TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=ID:ctl00_contentPlaceHolder_Toolbar_Close
WAIT SECONDS=3
TAB T=2
The line with the *Toolbar_Close command triggers an on screen button which saves changes and closes the Tab. This has worked well in the past.

I now get an error on the TAB T=2 field as it states "TypeError: can't access dead object, line: 13 (Error code: -1001)"
iMacros adding then becomes completely locked, only a shutdown of FF and restart will allow use of iMacros.

I need to add a TAB CLOSE to ensure iMacros knows the TAB has closed.

Code: Select all

TAB T=3
FRAME F=0
TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=ID:ctl00_contentPlaceHolder_Toolbar_Close
WAIT SECONDS=3
TAB CLOSE
TAB T=2

Previously when recording macros, it would add the T=3, TAB CLOSE, etc lines. When this ran it would then close too many Tabs as TAB CLOSE would execute on the T=2 tab as T=3 has been closed by the application (hence I've removed TAB CLOSE from the scripts).

Is this new behavior and will remain, or is this something that is a bug.
