iMacros4Firefox internals: imns.FIO.readTextFile crash

Post by juanato » Sat Mar 29, 2014 9:20 pm

Using Firefox 27.x in Linux and Wndows I get the same bug accesing text files from iMacros internals functions:

imns.FIO.readTextFile()

[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) [nsIPrefBranch.getCharPref]" nsresult: "0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)" location: "JS frame :: resource://imacros/utils.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 399" data: no], line 395 (Error code: -991)

Firefox 25.0.1 works fine with the same code in Windows.

You didn't search the Forum before posting...: (5th or 6th Thread about the same Problem...)
http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=22494

EDIT (2019-03-12):
Working Link as previous Link doesn't work anymore...:
viewtopic.php?t=22494
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE'/'Trial').
- FCI not mentioned: I don't even read the Qt...! (or only to catch Spam!)
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...
