Please help with "variable time refresh" formula

Post by quizzit » Tue Aug 26, 2014 12:44 pm

iMacros version: FireFox 8.8.2
Windows 7: English
Browser: FireFox 31
Yes, demo macros work
Scripting Interface: I don't know what a "scripting interface" is.
Website: https://www.google.com/?complete=0
Different Browsers: I want this to work with FireFox 31

I was able to find the following (I guess this is called a formula or script) in the forums by searching. I have changed it slightly. What I would like is to be able to refresh a page at random/variable lengths of time. Can someone share as to what determines what the formula is looking for that determines the length of time before the next page refresh if looping? Also, is it possible to increase the % of randomness in some way?

SET !VAR1 EVAL("var randomNumber=Math.floor(Math.random()*10 + 10); randomNumber;")
URL GOTO=https://www.google.com/?complete=0
' waits 10 to 20 seconds
WAIT SECONDS={{!VAR1}}

Also, in trying to meet the forum guidelines; what does "scripting interface" mean?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Quizzit
