Search a word and click that button using Imacros

Post by azenith25 » Thu Oct 30, 2014 5:59 am

Hi Everyone i'm a newbie in using Imacros for Firefox. I have a question on how to click a dynamic button using Imacros. This button is dynamically changing position. the button name is "track package". My idea is to search that word and then click it using imacros. Below is the recording that I have made.

VERSION BUILD=8850919 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/order-his ... 34-1809843
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:Track<SP>Package

I want the last line of the script to be dynamic so that it will still click the word Track Package even it change position on the page.

I hope you can help me on this. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure I understand the problem here. If you use

Code: Select all

TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:Track<SP>Package
then iMacros should tag the element disregarding the position. Is there more than one button/link with the text Track Package? (I don't own an Amazon account so I can't check).
