Scripting interface returns error code -1

Post by lardawg » Sun Jun 03, 2007 8:15 pm

I uninstalled all previous versions of iBrowser and firefox
I follwoed the instructions at:
http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?t= ... +scripting

I downloaded the imacros_for_firefox-0.8.0.2-fx+mz+sm+fl.xpi file
but I didn't know how to "install" it.
Is there somewhere specific I need to put this file?

When I ran the beta-test.vbs file, Firefox appeared with the iBrowser icon.
However, when I exited firefox I received an error message
"The Scripting interface returned error code: -1"

The same error occured when running beta-test-unicode.vbs

I tried running the followinf VB code:

iret = iim1.iimInit("-fx -silent", "False")

'Set Phonenumber
iiret = iim1.iimset("-var_PhoneNum", "805-981-9115")
!!!!!!! iiret returned value was 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
'Nav to ReversePhone page and put in Phone Number
iplay = iim1.iimPlay("Testit")
!!!!!!! iplay returned value was -1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Testit is:
VERSION BUILD=6000521 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=http://www.whitepages.com/10001/reverse_phone
TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=NAME:wp_rp_form ATTR=ID:first_field CONTENT={{PhoneNum}}

Any suggestions?

Thanks for this report. It seems that iMacros for Firefox completes the macro ok but returns -1 (1 would be correct). This will be fixed ASAP.

As a workaround, you can look at the text returned by iimGetLastError instead of checking the error code of iimPlay.
