How to Run .js file in firefox?
Foei-Foei, Hello Mister/Misses "License Issue" with the Non-Descriptive Thread Title and too lazy to read the Forum Rules......
EDIT:
This current Thread is not compliant with the Forum Rules...
=> Could you read my Reply in your previous Thread (Link already provided), and certainly READ THE FORUM RULES...!?
(Well Thread was "cleaned" by Forum Admin...)
>
+ Thread moved to the 'iMacros for FF' Sub-Forum...

Hum, and I "nearly" had a Compliment for @OP for their Descriptive Title for this Thread, very good...
Well, even if 'iMacros" is not spelled correctly, and "file" probably needs an "s", or the Meaning of the Thread or Understanding/Explanation could be completely different...
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE'/'Trial').
- FCI not mentioned: I don't even read the Qt...! (or only to catch Spam!)
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...

Oh...!?, good...!, this Part is (nearly) perfect, and we finally have your FCI...
Even is 'PE'/'Free'/'Trial' is still missing, => that will be 'PE' from your previous Thread...
=> FCI:
Code: Select all
iMacros v10.1.0 for FF 'PE', FF92, Win10_x64.

Hum, here you still missed the Section about Screenshots in the Forum Rules:
* When sharing screenshots or other relevant files, please upload them directly to the forum rather than use a third-party hosting/sharing service.
Too often these services stop functioning or the files become unavailable for whatever reason. Uploading them here ensures that the full context of the post remains consistent over time.
... But OK, never mind, only from your Thread Title (which is perfectly Descriptive) + from your FCI, I already understand what the Qt/Thread is about, I don't "really" need a Screenshot, and like I mentioned, the Answer/Explanation is documented in the Wiki in the Release Notes for iMacros v10.x for FF:
Not supported in this version:
CLICK
EVENT, EVENTS
FILEDELETE
FILTER
ONDIALOG
PROXY
!POPUP_ALLOWED
!SINGLESTEP
File upload is not supported
iMacros for Firefox is disabled in Private Browsing mode due to restrictions in Firefox
The built-in Javascript scripting interface for playing .js files is no longer available. Please use the iMacros Scripting Interface (API) included with some of the iMacros paid editions. This API allows you to control Chrome and Firefox from external scripts and programs (C++, C#, Javascript, Python, Perl, etc.)
The imacros://run/ URI is no longer supported for running macros from the command line, however, a new method is described here.
=> You cannot use '.js' Scripts with v10.x for FF...
'.js' Scripts are/were only supported until v9.x for FF, recommended is v8.9.7 for FF that most "Advanced" Users (still) use and that works until FF56 (recommended FF v55.0.3), or 'Pale Moon' (PM28, not sure about PM29), 'Basilisk' (v2020/v2021), 'Waterfox' (v2020/v2021), Browsers forked on FF but that didn't adopt the 'WebExtensions' Architecture...
