SAVEAS FOLDER parameter does not support space

Post by yummytester » Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:47 am

Hi guys,

I tried this simple macro
SAVEAS TYPE=JPEG FOLDER=C:\Doucuments and Settings\Administrator\Desktop FILE=My_Screenshot.jpg
in Firfox 3.0.5, but it seems the syntax does not support a folder name with blanks. Apparently, this
SAVEAS TYPE=JPEG FOLDER=* FILE=My_Screenshot.jpg
works.

I wonder does iMacro support that, because I tried using single/double quotes and neither works. If it does, which way I should do to make it work as I intended? Thank you!

I am not sure but you can use <SP> to replace space
OR
Why don't you change default path? Which can be change from "Option > Paths > Folder Downloads"

Thank you man, both ways work! I would prefer using <SP> to replace space since it's more flexible in my later scripts.
