subdirectories - "created by themselves"

Post by SwampCat » Fri Apr 02, 2010 12:53 am

Hi Guys,

I have a directory with all my logins.
To day I just noticed that there is another branch subfolder with the same name.
It turned out it has many empty subfolders.

Image

I honestly have no idea when that happened, since basically all is working fine and there were no indications of any misbehaviour. I just deleted the spare branch ... but :?:

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Well, iMacros would definitely not anything of this kind on its one. I guess there was a script that would create a folder recursively? :)

Best regards,

Hi Daniel

1) Thank you foe reply and I am sorry for the delayed response
Even if there is such script I definitely was not running it :)

2) the colder with my logins is at the top and always opened. I mean that it would be strange if I accidentally hit some of the existing macrises-examples

3) and finally, today I found that I am not alone with the similar issue... as in :

http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9879

I hope that the cause will be found. Nothing tragic for now though... but

My regards

Hello!

We heard that this happens very rarely, and so far nobody could ever recreate it. Thus we can not debug it at the moment.

If you can create this issue please let us know!

Hello

I can create this issue at will (happened today again). As I stated in the previous thread (http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9879) :

"This issues happen whenever I move a directory to another directory in iMacro interface. If I move dirA to dirB, the result is dirA/dirB/dirB/dirB/... with the contents of dirB nested recursevely."

Eventually I wrote a script to retrieve the macros and clean the directory tree automatically... A fix would be highly appreciated !

My version is 8.8.2, but it also happened in 8.8.1.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your feedback, I will report it to our Dev Team! Did it happen when you were trying to drag and drop the folders?

Thanks!

Question: does this happen in iMacros Browser or iMacros for Firefox?
