If extraction fails on certain character encodings

If you encounter problems with the extraction of "special" characters (i.e. Greek symbols, given, you are not running a Greek windows), the following usually helps:

Start --> Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Tab: Advanced --> Language for non-Unicode programs

Now, set the language as you need (Greek in our example), and iMacros will extract the characters correctly.

Alternatively, you can use iMacros for Firefox which includes full Unicode support: http://forum.imacros.net/viewtopic.php?p=7133

One thing to note is that for me the wizard the DBCS Japanese characters don’t show up correctly but look fine when the macro runs and if exported.

This display issue is fixed in V6.30.
