Can't connect to Database

by piez0rz on Fri Dec 23, 2011 1:07 am

I'm quite new to iMacros. I have been trying to use

From my understanding, this should work as long as I use:

Code: Select all
connstring = "Driver={MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver};Server=myServerAddress;Database=myDataBase;User=myUsername; Password=myPassword;Option=3;"

instead of:

Code: Select all
connstring = "driver={SQL Server};server=<SQLServerNameHere>;uid=<SQLUserIDHere>;pwd=<SQLPasswordHere>;database=databaseNameHere>"

However, I'm getting the following error: "[Microsoft][ODBC5.1 Driver] Access denied for user '----'@'------'(using password: YES)"

Is there something that I'm doing wrong here? What could cause this error and what are some of the possible solutions?

I've been trying for days and haven't got the sample scripts to to work. Did you get get it to work in the end?
