captcha folder & deathbycaptcha

Post by brian41256 » Mon Mar 10, 2014 8:16 pm

I getting an error when the bot is trying to open the captcha folder. It says "you don't have permission to open this file". I changed the folder, renamed it, changed the path, changed the security on the folder but noting
works. Can someone please help?

Code: Select all

macro = macro + "FILEDELETE NAME=C:\captcha\captcha.png" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=C:\captcha\ FILE=captcha.png WAIT=YES" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "TAG POS=3 TYPE=IMG ATTR=HREF:http://* CONTENT=EVENT:SAVE_ELEMENT_SCREENSHOT" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "WAIT SECONDS=1" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "TAB OPEN" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "TAB T=2" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "URL GOTO=http://api.deathbycaptcha.com/decaptcher?function=picture2&print_format=html" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=ACTION:http://api.deathbycaptcha.com/decaptcher ATTR=NAME:username CONTENT=DBCUsername" + vbNewLine
        macro = macro + "TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=ACTION:http://api.deathbycaptcha.com/decaptcher ATTR=NAME:password CONTENT=DBCPASSWORD" + vbNewLine

iMacros Version, Browser and Version, OS?
Do you get the Error Msg on the 1st Line already and is it an iMacros, Browser or OS Error Msg?
If it's an iMacros RuntimeError, can you post the full Error Msg?

- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE'/'Trial').
- I don't even read the Qt if that (required) Info is not mentioned...!

I''m using Imacros 9, Firefox and Windows 8.
No error msg on the 1st line. I think it could be a os error msg.

The bot runs right the first 2 times then I get the message that says "captcha You don't have permission to open this file. Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission.

When i press OK the bot starts to run again and its stops after 2 or 3 times.

I even tried using the my Download's folder to pull the captcha image and it does the same thing. I never had any permission problems with this folder or any other folders.

I don't really know but I would try adding a mini WAIT Statement before and after the FILEDELETE because the fetching of the Captcha and deleting it are very close in time to each other when your Macro is looping...
And maybe even just to tag some Element on the Page at the very End of your Script after the local Captcha has been read to force iMacros to do stg else between opening/reading the File and deleting it straight away...

Just in case someone else runs into this problem. I was able to run ondownload statements from other servers, but on one set of servers it was not working. Got the "you don't have permission to X" on the downloaded file, i.e. the file was downloaded by the script/macro, but then I couldn't open it from within the same script or even at the command line.

SOLUTION: I forgot to change the options on imacros to be in both stealth IE mode and don't display script errors. After toggling both of these to ON, the ondownload files were accessible. I should have realized this was the case since ondownload worked on the servers where the settings were correctly set to Stealth and Do Not Display Script Errors.

Hope this helps. I spent a lot of time thinking it was some OS setting. But the OS couldn't read files correctly when they were saved out of a "native" imacros program. Worked correctly when the imacros looked like IE (as it should).

I'm running Win2012 Sever R2. Same should apply to Win8 on desktops.

Now a days we earn money from online by doing many works . Captcha entry is one of them. We do it manually but sometimes it boring us. So you can use a captcha entry software. You can learn more from here http://2captcha.com/?from=1118705. Thanks
