TAG commnd does not work correctly on Internet Explorer 11

Post by pbuchanan » Sat Dec 20, 2014 4:25 am

I am using the latest version of iMacros sidebar(10.2.26.4235) in conjunction with Internet Explorer 11 (11.0.9600.17501, Update Versions: 11.0.15 KB3008923).

When I try to run the following iMacros command,
I receive an error:
TAG POS=1 TYPE=FONT ATTR=TXT:CATSWeb<SP>V7<SP>Login

Error -1300: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)). Line 5: TAG POS=1 TYPE=FONT ATTR=TXT:CATSWeb<SP>V7<SP>Login

==> The attribute is there, I just recorded it. It appears in the HTML.

The same script works fine in the iMacros browser, as well as in Firefox and Chrome.

In addition, some of the examples do not work either.
Eval.iim returns the following similar error.

Error -1000: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)). Line 17: PROMPT {{!VAR1}}

And you are posting this in here why? This is strictly a FireFox Browser thread.

Was exactly my Reaction when I saw this Thread... but I didn't want to be too harsh on a Newbie and say anything because the Full Config Info was mentioned and full and clear Error Msg was mentioned as well and if the Demos were working... And the Thread Title was meaningful...
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE').
- I don't even read the Qt if that (required) Info is not mentioned...!
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...

Please verify that the iMacros Browser Helper Object is enabled in your Internet Explorer by selecting Manage Add-ons from the Tools menu (or from the gear icon in the IE toolbar).

You want to make sure that both entries for iMacros listed there are enabled, as displayed in the screenshot in the following forum post:
